Ilyana felt satisfied. Sure coming here and finding Lev had taken more time and effort but she didn't see either of it being wasted on him. Lev's presence beside her, the way blood would contest to color his cheeks red, and his deep beautiful voice, everything fits to her so deeply that she loved every single second she spent with him.
Lev wasn't a talkative person but he knew what to say and what not to over say, making her comfortable to be with him. She was about to take her glass when Lev held her hand, stopping her from doing so. With a smile, his gentle eyes appeared worried, "I don't think you should drink anymore. Yesterday you drank a lot."
"You can take care of me so I don't think I should be too worried," she teased, holding back to his hand which she then placed beside her legs.
"I can but I don't want to see you sick. Drinking too much can lead to many complications," he drawled when she shushed him off, placing her index finger on his soft lips.
