A rare occasion for Hua. She decided to sleep and be lazy for the day. Sheng and Jian had gone into the office for work meetings.
What she didn't know was that Sheng didn't have to go in but he wanted to listen to the audio files that Hua had recorded. Jian also wanted to hear them. After they were done with work in the morning, they both systematically went through each file.
It was quite horrendous and truly horrifying to hear the slaps, kicks, punches, and verbal abuse that Hua was subjected to. Jian had thought he had seen his fair share of ruthless people working in his family's business but it really was nothing compared to Hua's lived experience.
Jian and Sheng were able to recognize whose voice belonged to who. Pei has also sent photos of all four members of the family.
One such file went like this:
"Is this how you thank you? By rebelling and being unfaithful?!"
