"Hey cat how are you doing?" Zain replied her, he really wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone right now he just wanted to go home and sleep off all this nonsense that has transpired today "you were leaving already, I thought you were going to come over as regards what we talked about" cat said
"I didn't know if it was a good idea" Zain said "well any good news" Zain added, he was really impatient at this point he really wants to get going, and he doesn't have any slight hope as to getting Jane a job, he doesn't even know he's going to face her and that make him even more sad, "well it depends on you" cat replied "I don't understand" Zain asked "can we talk in your car, I don't want anybody hearing us" cat said "okay" Zain opened the back seat for to get in and he followed immediately
"am actually taking a big risk by telling you this, am not supposed to, I searched on my end but I couldn't find anything, I had already given up but then I overheard the vice president taking over the phone, the president's son, Mr Christopher Smith is coming back to the country on Saturday and the family needs a personal maid for him, that would tend to only his needs, I don't know if she would be interested" cat explained
Zain thought for a while before answering her "I don't know but I will talk to her" "don't worry Zain, Chris is a good man" cat said "you sound like you know him so well" Zain said "I actually do I used to be his secretary, before he left the country, and am sure the pay is going to be better than some corporate jobs, beside she doesn't have a degree, this is best job that she can find right now, trust me" cat said
"alright I will explain to her" Zain said "but the problem is how to get her to the house, she can't just go like that, but I overheard they are scouting for the maid from Linkway resources, and the interview is going to be tomorrow by 12pm she should get to the house about 20 minutes before 12pm so she can get access before the rest, she should just tell them, she's from the company, I hope she finds luck"
"oh there's so much protocol in the Smith's family, both in the company and the house" Zain complained, cat laughed softly "they are the wealthiest family in the country, they are of the high society, what exactly were you expecting?" cat looked up at him "well I guess it's okay" Zain said "here is the address to the mansion and the name of the company so she doesn't have to forget, good luck" cat said, she opened the door and got out "hey cat" Zain peeped out the window and called after her, cat heard him and looked back "yes" cat replied "thank you very much, I really appreciate, this means a lot to me" Zain said with so many emotions "you are welcome,it's my pleasure" cat replied and got into her car, and drove off
Zain also drove off, he was really happy, that he could at least find her a job, he just hopes she wouldn't mind the nature of the job
Zain got home a little after seven in the evening, he had stopped over in the supermarket the get his sister her favorite yoghurt, he knew he went a little overboard with her this morning, he needs to apologise to her, he got down from his car after packing it in front of the house, he went inside the house, and met Juliet, with Harrison watching TV, "hey guys am back" Zain shouted so they could hear him, "watsup bro, how was work?" only Harrison answered him, Juliet was probably still angry with him
he walked over to where Juliet was sitting and gave her a peck on the cheek "hey sweet sis, how was your day?" Zain asked his sister trying to cajole her.
Juliet was totally confused she didn't know what to think, what in the world was wrong with him, this morning he was angry with her, now he was behaving like the nicest brother in the world "what do you want?" she defended "hey loosen up, am just saying hello, see I brought you this" Zain unpacked the yoghurt and gave it to her, Juliet's face immediately lit up, this was her favorite yoghurt in the entire world "awnn you are so sweet, I really love you, she took it and digged into it" "you love him, what about me?" Harrison said pouting his mouth and pretending to be sad "oh come on Harrison don't be a baby" Juliet scolded
"where's John, I haven't seen him around" Zain asked he hasn't seen his nephew, he obviously wasn't home, if not he would have jumped on him by now
"he's at Mrs Whitney's house, he's been there since he got back from school" "oh that's great, uhmmm, do you know if Jane got back already" Zain asked her
"she's actually home, which is surprising she doesn't come back home this early, she got back since around four this evening" Juliet explained "really?" Zain was surprised he only asked but he wasn't expecting her to be back home already
"I think I should pick john up, it's already getting late" Zain quickly stood up and walked towards the door "are you really going to bring john back home or you want to see Jane?" Juliet accused
"I don't know what you are talking about" Zain replied "of course you don't" Juliet replied him rolling her eyes, she was obviously mocking him, Zain didn't pay any attention to her, he just left, he couldn't wait to see and talk to Jane, he has been thinking about her all through the day, he went over and knocked the door a few times and fortunately it was Jane who answered the door
She was wearing a simple top and a short Jean skirt, she was looking really beautiful without making a simple effort, upon seeing her Zain released the breath he didn't know he has been holding "good evening Jane" Zain greeted smiling at her "good evening Zain" she greeted him back smiling at him too
