"Hey, excuse me", called out Ap shyly. Jen looks back to see a shy Ap walking awkwardly to her. Jen turns around, as if not interested. Ap runs up to her and says, "you might not remember me, but you'd helped me yesterday. I cam to say thank you" and spread her hands holding the pikelets infront of Jen. Jen looked into Ap's eyes and tossed the pickelets onto the floor. It took Ap a second to process what just happened. As soon as she realized, she ran while bawling. She thought she had at least one person in her side, but it was all in her head.
Ap ran out of the classroom into the hallway. She ran for sometime and got into the restroom. She locked herself in a stall and started crying. It was not only the embarrassment for her, it was also the fact that the only person she thought would help her turned out to be against her.
The kids in the classroom were cheering for Jen. Jen acted tough infront of them, but as soon as the situation calmed, she slowly got out of her classroom and made sure no one was noticing. She got out and ran through the whole school building until she reached the restroom. She had been to Ap's classroom to check, so she was sure Ap wasn't in the classroom. Jen just wanted to make sure she wasn't leaving in place, so she got in and was about to call for Ap when she heard something. It was Ap. She was on the phone with her long distance boyfriend. She was crying her heart out to him. She told him how she thought she had Jen with her, but Jen too wasn't different from the others. "For once in my life, I thought, someone was on my side, someone understood me. But I was wrong Jeff, I was wrong AGAIN" she cried. Jen was out there listening to everything. She felt bad for her, but she had no other choice. At least that's what Jen thought. According to Jen this was the only way to stop others from bullying her.
Though she despised doing it, Jen continued to bully Ap for the coming few weeks. She did lots of stuff. She would sometimes make Ap run and get her snacks from the cafeteria to her classroom during those short breaks. Ap would run like there was no tomorrow. Jen would make Ap carry her school bag around. She would force her to do her assignments in the library. And a lot of other things, that looked like bullying to others and Ap, but in reality wasn't very rude. To Ap Jen was, now, the most rude and scary senior. But she didn't know the reason why her senior acted like that. Even though she was scared of Jen, they were slowly but gradually getting close, without even them realizing it.
They started having meals together at the school cafeteria in the pretends that Ap needed to carry Jen's school bag and etc.
What they both didn't know was that Jen would have to stop the act very soon.
