Chapter 1 - Cheng Feng...

Stars glittered in the night sky...

On a wooden electricity pole, sat a red eyed black crow glaring through a window as a screen illuminated in it left eye.

In a vast dungeon arena, a young man was holding a black winged creature with two metallic horn that looked like a cross between a cow and a vampire bat.

Holding a dagger in his other hand the young man swiftly cut open the still struggling creature's stomach out, revealing it black blood and it red tender flesh.

And almost without hesitation, the young man deepened his huge hands covered in dark glove, into the creature's body only to pull out a glowing red crystal, tossing it dead body aside.

[Demigod-tier black bat beast killed. Beast crystal obtained. + 900 strength points obtained.]

[Beast crystal absorbed...]

[You have successfully ascended to level 200.]

A strange square shaped screen appeared in front of the young man's face.

"Perfect...i have successfully levelled up almost to the peak, now i hope i can take down a god-tier dungeon boss now." He snickered walking into a dark cave that was lit by several torches along the walls.

The moment the young man stepped into the cave, a spatial fluctuation took place immediately, then a black portal appeared up ahead.

[Warning!, God level beast black bat beast detected up ahead!.]

[Does player wish to leave dungeon?!]

"No!"

[Warning God level... .is approaching player won't be able to leave the dungeon the moment it appears.]

"That fine by me."

Cheng Feng gazed at the creature climbing out of the portal, it was a big black bat similar to the one he had killed earlier, but also different at the same time because of it polished silver alloyed body and it size, which appeared to be around the same size as an adult alsatian dog, giving it an appearance similar to that of a mechanical bat. It was like an escaped science fair project made of silver alloys, and it eyes were deep red, like rubies. It didn't look like a living creature unless observed carefully.

"Why does this black bat look so strange even stranger than the god level beasts I've seen." Cheng Feng stared at the silver bat beast.

Recently, he had killed several demigod level bats and knew everything about them. Their visions were poor, but their hearings was sensitive. As long as he remain still without making a sound and was few meters away from them, they wouldn't notice his presence.

At this moment, a threatening aura has filled the whole dungeon as the silver beast was just stepping out of the portal and soon it was already flying towards Cheng Feng.

Tightly holding his dagger in his hand, Cheng Feng charged forward and cut at the flying bat stomach's in a fast and ruthless strike.

But Cheng Feng had underestimated the speed and responsiveness of the silver bat. It noticed what he was about to do so the beast all of a sudden, rose into the air gliding with it silver blade wings spread towards Cheng Feng in a truly swift move. It two legs have cut him in the head before he could even react.

Cheng Feng, subconsciously stepped back in shock, yet the silver bat's legs still hit his head. With a sound of metal clashing, Cheng Feng felt only a slight discomfort as if his head was were hit by a stone, and there was not even a single scratch on his armor.

Filled with ecstasy, Cheng Feng seized the opportunity to cut into the slim waist of the silver bat above him with a quick jab.

The silver bat was sliced into two halves before it could even manage to shriek as black bat blood splashed all over him making him wet.

"I knew i could always do this" He told himself retrieving it crystal.

[God level silver bat killed. Beast crystal obtained. +1,000 agility points, +500 stamina points]

[Beast crystal absorbed...]

[Player Cheng Feng won!]

......

Within an ordinary rented house in an urban district.

"Hmph!... Another completed game, i guess." A voice sighed.

Inside a room full of junks and stuff was a young man who seems to be around 18 years of age.

He was sitting at his usual desk playing one of his favorite type of game a dungeon survival game he was a true gamer in and out and almost any moment he could spare, he would be playing one game or the other.

The young man didn't look like one would expect though he looked similar to the game character only that he was slightly fatter.

He was also 6'2 inches tall, Some would say he was handsome if not for his boring hairstyles and the fats he had in his body.

This young man's name was Cheng Feng. He was an orphan ever since he was born.

Fortunately, for him he was lucky enough to the point that the country's government decided to give him a scholarship to study for free in an high school where he finally met Leah the love of his life, they feel in love and started dating until one evening, when they got into an argument and Cheng Feng got mad saying he wouldn't escort her home so she decided to get on the road all alone.

Unfortunately while she was going home alone lost in thought an incoming truck rammed into her, as Cheng Feng quickly rushed her to hospital but it was to no valid and leah died.

Ever since then, Cheng feng's life got miserable, he stopped going to school and gave up on his life ambitions only to devote his time to games and beers alone.

Dan-dun-dan...his phone rang beside him.

"Eh?" He answered the call only to hear an angry voice yelled at him from the other end.

"You bastard, why have you become so wretched!"

The word Wretched made his head spark in anger!.

"Like you're any better!" He retorted as the voice went quiet at the end before sounding again but this time a bit softer filled with remorse and sympathy.

"Let me guess you're still on about her death been your fault?"

"Yes it is...and i know it cause had it been i had not left her that night she...she would probably still be alive by now"

The voice from the other end of the phone tried saying something more but Cheng Feng hung up already, tossing the phone on his couch.

A small photo frame caught his attention, staring at it, it was a picture of his girlfriend, Leah smiling at him.

Just from staring at the picture alone and seeing who it was, his face began to water as tears trickled down his cheeks wetting the photo frame.

He gently wiped the tears away from the frame as several horrible memories flashed before his eyes.

"No...i know it was my fault...it all my fault, i caused this...it was my fault you died leah... I'm so sorry," He sobbed for several minutes until his phone rang once again...he sniffled closing the frame on the table and walked toward his phone to see what kind of notification had entered.

And to his surprise it wasn't what he expected, he saw.
