Allancaster tidied things up with Neon helping him put them away on the shelves, he then handed some sweets and cakes to his mother and little brother to have with two glasses of milks, the mother most liked having goat's milk as it reminded her of her homeland her.

However, Allancaster, who could not stand the strong smell of goat's milk, always mixed it with honey and spices such as cinnamon to remove the strong smell of the liquid. Neon finally got a soft, white loaf, not the hard-grained mix bread he couldn't chew without soaking in water.

Allancaster separated the herbs and the right amounts for the cooking of the medicine, as the cooking has to be taken hot it can only be done at the time, so Helena would do it later, since he would have to deal with the protagonist that night.

After separating everything, he started to make the food for lunch, since his mother and little brother had already had enough of the food, he could now concentrate on lunch, he himself had some bread with smoked ham and a mug of cow's milk.

"Neon, let's read some books" Aysha said getting up slowly, she leaned on the chair and the youngest son went to his mother very obediently.

The books that Aysha talked about were the little books that Allancaster created to entertain his little brother, he was also thoughtful in making educational books for his little brother to learn to read and write.

Aysha had a knowledge of reading and writing learned around the time she met Helena's father, so she patiently taught the older children and now sat down to teach the youngest.

Allancaster began to prepare the pork meat, he took a bottle of sweet and red fruit wine to leave it fermenting with the meat, the pork would have a soft and sweet perfume of the wine, in addition to adding salt, garlic, pepper (white and red), he had a weakness for spicy food.

As for the chicken, he divided it into two portions, one he would bathe in beer and the other would be caramelized with honey and seasoned with herbs, they would have two types of meat which would be a feast for his family.

Beer and wine were the common drinks even for people living in the slums, as they did not have access to clean drinking water most of the time. Of course, there would be the highest and best quality drinks, the ones civilians got were the most common.

If Allancaster didn't have his magical powers to create clean drinking water for himself, he doesn't know how he would live with the thought of developing cirrhosis and/or diabetes in the future from too much alcohol that he would have to drink to quench his thirst.

Taking the potatoes and slicing them into half moons seasoning with salt, peppers and herbs, the seasonings that were rare throughout the Rosario Empire, but not something rare in the port city that received tons of seasonings from the Eastern Continent every month, since that civilians buy at the beginning of each month, they can get many different spices with good quality and very cheap prices.

What was more expensive were perishable foods such as vegetables, fruits and vegetables, meats were supplied by other nearby cities, which would not be so expensive, despite not being so accessible for those who live in the slum.

The grains if well-preserved could be imported and exported, which gave a greater variety to the residents of the port city with an affordable price, as for the vegetables, these were very precious and expensive for the people of the port city since they were cultivated by distant rural cities.

Everyone ate more fish and seafood than meat. Meat was a rare main course used in most festivities and important celebrations, because even though it was not very expensive, it was still not as cheap as fish and seafood.

"Ignos" Allancaster spoke, snapping his fingers towards the wood stove, a small fire rose through the already charred wood and the little coal that remained.

Then he washed the rice and let it soak a little, when the oven got hot he took out the pot of lard, which was cheaper than butter and oils (soy, olive, canola), clearly there was no margarine in this world yet, then he spread the lard with a thick-bristled brush on a copper dish and placed the sliced potatoes on top, then brushed the potatoes on top with the lard and placed it in the oven.
