Chapter 4 - BONUS STORY "ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING MIRROR"

She walks timidly, and scared she was. Alice's long red hair was so tangled, as it covered one of her eyes. Alone in the dark, quiet, but noisy forest, the little girl began to cry. She had always been ignored, insulted, and ousted from the kingdom after her parent's demise. This little princess wanders on her own, scared of the dark, people's opinions, and more importantly,... she fears she wasn't beautiful.

Sitting in the dark forest, behind a tree, her legs folded up to her face, her arms wrapped around her bowed head, as she cries in solitude. For every drop of tear she shed, transformed into a pearl before hitting the ground. For every pearl that hits the ground, shatters into pieces. For every shattered piece of pearl, came back together, until it finally transformed into a beautiful glossy mirror. Alice became so baffled.

She gingerly stared into the beautiful mirror. To her surprise, she saw something intriguing. It was .... her . She was dumbstruck, her mouth was wide open, puzzled, she was quite fascinated. She gently reached out to touch the other person in the mirror, who did the same. They finally touched. But then, Alice was pulled into the mirror by her doppelganger. Soon, she found herself in a very beautiful world, lying on roses. She stood up in wonder, found that she was wearing a beautiful red flowered dress, a princess crown on her straight silky ruby-coloured hair.

All over the place were so many different colours of prancing ponies. But next to a cherry tree, was a golden-coloured unicorn. It was like a dream. "Join me for a cup of tea, Princess. This is your new home now". The unicorn beckoned to her. It had a pretty good voice to it. Alice squeaked in excitement, and ran over to play with the unicorn. Together, they laughed, played, and had all sorts of fun.

she lived happily ever after in her glamorous new world.
