Natasha's POV
I closed the novel on my desk as I finished reading the 10th Chapter for today. For one week now all I've done is stay in my room and read novels that Nadia always helped me get from outside.
I didn't know if Nadia believed that I truly try to seduce that prison guard but she didn't show how she felt.
I picked up the novel and walked to my bed lifting it up and hiding the novel under it. My father could barge into the room at anytime like you has been doing the whole week.
Every afternoon for the whole week, he drove me to the pack's factory and he had them assigned heavy tasks to me.
Since the last time that Alyssa used her dark arts to steal my power, I was already feeling better and recovering slowly, although I knew that it was only a matter of time till it was a full moon and she would come to rob me again.
I looked at the wall clock and saw that it was 2 p.m. already so my dad will enter at any minute. I was always dressed in preparation for him to kick my door open, shout my name and, yell at me to follow him.
I was being punished for being falsely accused.
I sat on my bed staring at the white wall with my arms crossed over my chest, waiting for my dad. I remained sitting there for a while and after about 30 minutes that he didn't come, I stood up.
The romance I was reading was very captivating and I only eat it because I thought that my dad will soon come and although he hasn't caught me reading in a while before I wasn't sure how he might react. He was full of surprises.
I bent down so I could reach for the Novel that I hid under my bed, but I stood up again, changing my mind. I need to first find out why he didn't come.
I slipped into my sandal and quickly walked out of my room. I looked right and left of the corridor and walked in the left direction where my dad always was.
My werewolf instinct were fully active now and I couldn't sense him anywhere.
I looked down as two maids passed by and I could feel the heat of their gazes on me.
I got to the entrance of the mansion and I opened the door narrowly peeping out. I couldn't see my dad's car outside. Could it be that he went to do something else and decided to leave me alone today?
I sighed in relief and as I was about to close the door so I could go back to my room and continue reading the book, I looked up to see Alyssa drive to the front of the building in her car.
She was in the car with her friends, Keelin and Phoebe. I watched as the three of them climbed down from the car and I immediately move away from the door hurrying away so they wouldn't see me.
The corridor was long and as I heard the door open, I knew they would see me so I quickly dove into the corridor on the left.
I waited there as they walked to Alyssa's room.
"So Keelin told me what happened with Alpha Jack and Natasha," I heard Phoebe and I immediately got curious.
"Oh yes, I was so afraid," I heard Alyssa's voice.
"They both felt the mate bond for a while and I would have been in trouble if I didn't act quickly," Alyssa said and I quickly covered my mouth to prevent myself from gasping.
I was right. I knew what I felt on that day. I felt the mate bond and I was sure of it but the next minute, it disappeared completely.
I knew that she was responsible for it, but I wasn't sure what she did exactly.
"Good. You can't let your crazy sister of Alpha Jack. She doesn't deserve a man like him," Keelin said and I clenched my fists subconsciously.
I was about to go out of hiding and confront them but I stopped as Alyssa talked again.
"Don't worry, I just went out to meet the Petrova Witches and I found a permanent solution to that nasty problem," Alyssa said and I remained standing where I was.
I have to find out what Alyssa plans to do. I won't let her succeed in her evil schemes.
If Alpha Jack was truly my Mate, I would find a way to make him know and then she and my father wouldn't be able to treat me badly again. I was definitely going to make Alyssa pay for everything she has done to me.
