Between classes, therapy meetings, and community service, Fiona was always on the go. There was always someplace she had to be. It had been less than a day since she'd added "acting as Cain's girlfriend" to the list, but she could already feel the activity draining her. The little moments she had to relax, she would spend on him, cuddling up and putting on a show for the audience. At lunch break, he'd scheduled to meet her with a couple of friends. She'd agreed at first, after which she remembered she had appointments at the Cloth House, and afterward, a study session with Dominic.
"After dinner, then," Cain suggested when she told him.
Fiona's jaw fell. She wanted to rest in the dorm room after dinner. But the way Cain looked at her... with hope in his eyes... she could feel her resolve leaving her.
"Sure."
