Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Bazaar

[HEAD TO THE BAZAAR]

The same voice again.

He headed down the hill.

As he neared The City he looked around. It definitely wasn't how he left it. The same dark alleys he had left behind were now brightly lit by glowing orbs that emanated a faint warmth.

[HEAD TO THE BAZAAR]

"Ok, I get it" he said aloud. Some strangely dressed travelers turned to look at him as a mother lead her child away from him.

He turned to look at them. These people were not the same as those in the city he knew. Faces that should have been worn and dirty were plump and clean even the travelers were less dirty than him.

[HEAD TO THE BAZAAR]

He did. He weaved through the streets and alleys that he knew so well. At least they hadn't changed. Finally he reached the bazaar.

It was much the same.

Rickety stalls draped in bright colours. The streets bustled as they had done before. He looked at the stalls and swore he knew some of the shop keeps.

In fact hadn't he just been at that stall only a few hours ago.

The wares were the same as he remembered and the shopkeepers dog still sat idly by.

He breathed a sigh of relief. It must have been the same city. There was probably just a festival he didn't know about. That must have been why the people dressed so strangely.

But then what was the voice.

Anyways he didn't have time to think about that now. He had to get back home for dinner or his mum would kill him.

[GO TO THE CENTRE OF THE BAZAAR]

What should he do? He didn't want to mess with the voice but at the same time his mum could be ruthless.

He decided to head home. The voice could wait until after dinner.

[DO YOU WISH TO DISOBEY ORDERS]

He thought….

Yes.

[CALCULATING PENALTY]

Whaaaaatt? Penalty! What was going on.

[SINCE IT IS A FIRST OFFENCE PENALTY WILL BE REDUCED ]

[PENALTY: SURVIVE 2 HOURS]

What survive 2 hours. That couldn't be to hard. There was no danger to him. He looked around to be sure.

Vooooooooshhhh

He felt a sudden jolt down his spine. His vision went black.
