"What are the resources?" I asked.
"You will know when you get there." He replied as he stood up from his chair.
I along with Burkh, Madeline and Rose walked out of the meeting room. I followed them down the long winding stairway to the bottom of the tower.
The path after that was dark, humid and hot. After descending to the bottom of the tower, we came across a huge sturdy door which seemed to fit even tanks if need be.
Burkh and co stopped in front of the door and white light shone on them for a while and the door opened slowly.
We passed through the door and entered a huge space full of advanced computers running on unknown fuel with a gigantic machinery in the middle of them.
"This is the 'main room' from where resources are extracted and maintained.The machine you see in the middle is a 'Plasma Exfoliator and Remover', it is used to drill tunnel in the earth to access the inner layers of the earth. It works by blasting optimal electromagnetic onto the earth to turn it into plasma and the created plasma is used to refuel the machine to keep it working. Currently it has drilled 100 km deep into the earth. We are gonna go down to earth to collect resources. Let's go." Burkh said as we came in front of PER and a door opened sideways for us and we entered into what seemed like lift.
As we continued to descend I asked Burkh who was standing on my left side together with Madeline,"May I ask how many shackles you have broken or is it considered impolite here?"
Burkh replied chuckling," No, I have broken 4 of my shackles. Everyone in charge of a tower here has broken 4 of their shackles."
"What type of reality did you ascend from?"
I did not ask the girls any questions as I am pretty fidgety around them, old habits die hard.
"It was a pugilistic reality with physique cultivators predominant."
"Are you a physique cultivator as well?"
"Yes, of course. In fact I was the progenitor of physique cultivation in that reality."
"But don't you need to have a strong mortal soul to ascend here."
"Didn't you ask Judith those questions?"
"I was pretty tired so I rested until you called for me."
"Well, there are other ways to ascend as well. Supreme souls are not particularly choosy, if you have a strong enough mortal body you can ascend as well."
"What happens to the mortal soul then?"
"The mortal soul becomes nourishment for ascending body.
"We have arrived." Burkh said as the lift came to a halt.
