Chapter 36 - Chapter 36, Liberty Guild

"Oh, I totally forgot about it, sure that is better anyway," I replied after thinking for a few seconds, I decided to see if there is an adventure guild on this continent like in the Upper World, of course, it doesn't have to do anything with the one in the Upper World.

Although we are in a Lower World Continent, that doesn't mean that people here think differently, it isn't difficult to guess that they of course would create an organization to help them while dealing with monsters and beasts, and to give specific missions by Nobles or other people.

After asking for a while we found what we are looking for but with a different name here, they named it, Liberty Guild.

As for the details for naming it a different name, that is something to find later, as it doesn't matter to us what name the guild has here, as long as it gives the same privileges and services.

Following the direction people gave us, we quickly found our way to Liberty guild.

We are now standing in front of a 10-story building that seemed to be made from normal materials, as I haven't noticed anything extraordinary about the building except for its large size and large door down there due to the large number of people passing from it.

After standing for a few seconds, I prompted Emilia to follow.

"Let's go," I said with a smile that is hidden beneath my hood while holding Emilia's hand to not lose her in this large crowd of people coming and going from Liberty guild.

Entering the guild lobby, we found that it was divided into three parts, one where people were chatting and drinking together on the side in an area probably provided by the guild, the second where a large bulletin board where probably the guild missions were attached so people can choose from the mission that fit their criteria, and last area is where 5 counters with attendants standing behind, to help the people here and register the missions.

Finding an empty counter with no one standing in front of it, he walked there with Emilia in hand to stand before the counter, there was a beautiful female with short green hair. She has a small round face with attractive emerald eyes, thick eyebrows, and thin rosy lips, there was a small piece of metal attached to her clothes with her name which said, Eve.

When Kevin put his eyes on her, he sensed his alarm bells screaming danger in his mind, although he was a little startled that an attendant girl would give this feeling, he just shrugged it off as it is none of his business.

Putting aside this thing to the back of his mind, he removed his hood to show his face and greeted the attendant.

"Hello miss, I am new and wanted to register in your guild and wanted to know the requirements and privileges for being a member in your guild," said Kevin with a smile.

Eve was startled to see a handsome young man like him since it is the first time she saw him here, and after listing to his words, she understood that he is new here.

"To sign your name in the guild, you will need to pay 5 silver coins, then you will have to finish at least two of the lowest missions available before being accepted as a member, as the members are divided into levels depending on the number of missions and the difficulty."

"As for the privileges of our guild, you can have access to other cities using your card as a token without paying entry fees, and you can buy information from us at cheaper prices depending on the level of information, and as your level increases in our guild, you will have more access to deeper information and higher level missions."

"There are four ranks, which are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Depending on your rank will make more privileges available to you from the guild," finished Eve her introduction with a smile.

"Then what about the rules?" asked Kevin curiously.

"As long as you are not practicing dark arts, caught taking the lives of innocent people, then there is nothing more to add except that every 3 months you have to complete a mission to guild in case you stopped for a while, if you don't want your membership canceled," Eve said with the same smile from before.

"Then please register me and her, and then we will go to choose a mission of our rank."

"Your names?"

"Kevin and she is Emilia," I replied truthfully since I saw no reason to change my name here since no one knows about us anyway.

After that, we headed to the bulletin board to choose a mission that goes well with our cultivation and helps us gain experience fighting as this is the reason we came here for.

After finding an inn that Eve recommended to us after asking her about the best inns in the city, we rented one large room for me and Emilia with two beds and a bathroom instead of two different rooms, since we are used to staying together anyway.

Thinking about the two missions I choose, I couldn't help but be excited, as this is going to be my first real fight after reincarnating 14 years ago in this body, and starting my new life that I vowed would never let anyone endanger it or the people around me, although now I am still weak, with time, I will grow enough to be able to protect my family.

Since the lowest level of missions in the guild are for Will Formation Realm cultivators, it was higher than me and Emilia's cultivation level but I didn't have to worry since I knew I could fight Will Formation Realm cultivators or beasts easily, but I decided to start it low as to train myself and Emilia in combat first before doing anything dangerous.

The missions on the bulletin board were divided in the same way the members were divided except that they have color differences in how deep or light the color of the mission signifies the difficulty of the mission, the deeper the color the more difficult it is.

After choosing my two missions, I wanted to ask about where am I exactly but I knew if I asked a question like that, people would look at me weirdly if something like that happened, that's why I refrained now from asking since I am not curious enough, but I bought information about the forest near the city.
