There was only a few hours left before Killian awake.
Sam and the crusader army were stopped by Veras and demons. Veras was madly attacking the crusaders. He was extremely furious but also helpless.
If he did not comply, Evilyn will activate the chaos essences in him and make him suffer the pain that worse than death. Veras vent all his angers toward the enemies.
Sam doesn't have anymore cards. Even with his ultimate, he knew from the beginning that he won't be able to kill a dragon. Dragons have highest defense in the game.
His plan was to heavily injure the dragon and let it run away or stay out of the battle. Without the dragon it will be easier to break through.
Demons are strong but he can overwhelm them with numbers. But a dragon is a different story. You can't hunt a lion with a pack of dogs after all.
"Sam we are here to help."
Sam heard the voice behind him. It was Alana, Alerian and the Eylans archmage.
"You should go for the chrysalis. I will hold this dragon."
Eylans archmage said. He was an old man with long white beard. He wore a white robe and hold a staff.
He was the leader of the court magicans of the kingdom of Eylans. He was not a royalty but his authority within the magic kingdom is second only to the queen.
It was because of him that the magic kingdom can surpass the sword kingdom for a long time.
Alana and Alerian ran towards the chrysalis. Veras turned to them to attack but he was hit by a bunch of magic missiles.
"I'm right here. You beast. Come at me!"
The old man shouted. Veras angrily turn to him and breath flames. The old man defend himself with a magic shield and flew in the air.
Veras attack him but the old man was focus on dodging and just poking with some spells. His job was not to defeat Veras. He only need to distract it while the others destroy the chrysalis.
Alana and Alerian arrived in front of the dark chrysalis. They can feel omimous aura coming from the chrysalis.
"Its bigger at front."
Alana said in surprise. The chrysalis was leaking a dangerous energy.
"Let's destroy it fast. The holy lord said there was little time left."
Alerian said and drew his sword. Alana nodded and also bring out her wand.
They both attack at the same time. However a barrier appeared and defend their attacks.
"Of cause there will be a barrier."
It was expected. If there was no barrier defending, it might already blast away by Sam's ultimate.
"Keep attacking. We can destroy it."
Their attacks are fierce. Their weapons were made from the tree of life and its considered one of the best materials.
The barrier started to crack.
"Master!"
Lukia and Devlian ran to protect the chrysalis. They knew if their master dies everything will be over for them.
"Looks like the traitors have come."
Alana said coldly. They had no choice but to fight them first.
Two swords clashes. It was Alerian and Devlian. They were evenly matched. In normal times Alerian was far stronger than Devlian.
The elves have long life and Alerian is much older than Devlian.
However after becoming Killian's servant, Devlian gained power beyond human imagination. His raw strength rises to several times.
But in terms of agility, Alerian was still superior. The elves have higher agility than humans in general.
Beside them was Lukia and Alana. Alana summons spirits to attack but they were crash easily by Lukia.
Spiritualists are very weak in close combat. Even normal soldiers can pose a threat to them in close combat.
Now she was fighting Lukia who is currently even stronger than Devlian. She doesn't stand a chance as she was quickly surpassed by Lukia.

Lukia laughed and attack more fiercely.
Alerian rush to protect his sister. They are at a huge disadvantage. Alana was pretty much useless in the fight.

They had thought they could easily win against Lukia and Devlian. For them human princes are just babies in front of them. No matter how talented a human can be their life span is limited.
