Salina shocked and looked at the ones that attack and gasped.
"Demons, how?"
There were demons in the barrier. How they come here. The portals shouldn't be work since the place was filled with holy powers and Salina even made some arrangements.
But how could they come here. However its not the time to think about that. The angels that were hit by the attacks were fallen from the sky.
Since they focus their powers to the barrier, they are very vulnerable inside. The barrier energy lower after the angels fallen. Cracks appears everywhere and the barrier was shattered.
"My lady we must retreat to the temple. If we fight in the temple, our holy powers will be amplify by the holy grail and we might stand a chance."
Sanrial said while fending off the attacks.
Salina has no choice and she retreated back to the temple with the angels. But some unlucky angels were pierced through by Killian's dark spears. The bright light shines when they dies.
Salina's heart was bleeding. These angels are her kingdom's main power. She pays a lot of holy essences to summon them.
Now she cannot even summon more since Killian killed majority of her people. She don't have enough holy essence. It will harder to rebuild the holy kingdom and regain its former glory.
"This time the holy grail shall be mine."
Killian and the demons entered the temple. Before that Killian put Veras into his inner dimension.
If Veras enters the temple, the ceiling of the temple will likely collapse. Although the holy temple is biggest building in the continent, the passages are not large enough for a dragon to go in.
"Kill everything you see. Kill everything."
Killian ordered the demons and flew towards the holy grail. Since he already been there before, there was no problem finding it again.
There were priests and acolytes that were screaming and running away from the demons. The corpses can be found everywhere in the holy temple.
"Lady Salina. Thanks god you're safe."
Salina heard a familiar voice. She turned around but she didn't see anything.
"I'm sorry I forgot about that."
A voice came out again and reveals a person from invisibility. It was Kalisa.
"Lady Kalisa."
Salina was surprised. She thought Kalisa might died in the hands of demons. Although she is an archmage there were just too many demons.
"Come with us lady Kalisa. We need every help we can get when we fight the demon leader."
Salina said and ordered an angel to carry Kalisa. But Kalisa rejected. She cast a spell to herself and flew.
"She is an archmage indeed."
Salina nodded and went to the holy grail.
Killian finally arrived at the huge pool. At the center of the pool was the holy grail. Salina and remaining angels forming a barrier around the pool.
However Killian arrived too fast and they don't have enough time thus the barrier was very weak compare to the barrier outside before.
Killian didn't give them time as he immediately shot the chaos beams towards the barrier. Cracks appears and the barrier shattered instantly.
The two archangels step forward and attack Killian. The holy lights shines and flew towards Killian. Killian casually dodged as he opened a portal and disappeared.
The portal reappears behind one of the archangels and a huge mouth bit him. The archangel got off guard and struggled. But in the end he was crushed by the sharp teeth.
It was Veras. Although he cannot come into the temple, Killian can open portals and let him attack. The lights shines and one of the archangels died.
Salina's face turned pale. Her strongest tier angel just died easily. She don't have enough holy essences to summon another angels like last time. The situation right now is very bad for her.
