Su Hongxing hears Little Pudding calling for his parents and feels a tad heartbroken. She says to Ye Qilan, "Is it okay to leave Little Pudding with Fu Yan? He wants time alone with Qingyin."
"I remember you not being so fond of Fu Yan being close to Qingyin. How did that change so quickly?" Ye Qilan asked, puzzled.
"I still don't like it now. But currently, Fu Yan is the only man Qingyin knows. She must move on from her past before we can introduce her to other suitors. She's still young." Su Hongxing got into the car and was about to buckle her seatbelt.
Ye Qilan, however, beats her to it, buckling the seatbelt for her. His main intention, of course, was to seize the opportunity to get close to her. That was the only way to heal her illness quickly.
