"Oh son, it's already 5:40, and we are getting late as we had to leave at 6 o'clock for Azamgarh Palace which is a little far away from this area and the engagement has to be held at 8 o'clock surely according to Pandit ji as that is the only time when negative energy is staying away from our family and from everyone else".
James' mother said while she was interrupted by Eric and Jeremy who were the twins in the family and were the sons of James uncle "Mr. Jack Cooper".
"Aunt and uncle, please don't discuss negative energies and all these superstitions as they are far from the comprehension of science and people who believe in science. These things were used to believed in past, and now they make no sense as they are total fake and theoretical things".
Eric said while Jeremy was busy laughing on his nerd twin brother who never lose chance to give knowledge to everyone he finds.
Meanwhile, James was also giggling with Jeremy.
"Well brother I think you should stop giving knowledge to everyone you find but should focus on that today is not your science test…hah…hah…"
While laughing and everyone giggled after him.....
"Yes you are right handsome, but even Eric is right, you as your aunt always talks superstitious things and believes that don't exist.
She is so old for this new world, but look at your uncle, I am so young, and I don't believe in these superstitions, but I support Eric, and we are people of New era, cool and nerd, unlike your aunt".....
Everyone starts giggling.....
"Really Mr. cooper, don't act smart, please keep in mind that you are also from that same era from where I belong, once even you used to believe in these superstitions"….
"Oh come on, Mrs. Cooper…"
James father said.
Everyone starts giggling while James was feeling annoyed and tensed as he had to marry Erica who was just his friend and he never thought that he had to marry her even in his dreams.
He wanted to marry someone with whom he felt that spark that every couple have. Erica and him had no chemistry. Erica is a kind of modern and a very dominant and very ambitious women and James is totally opposite to it. He is someone who wants to stop in his life and wants to wait and want to enjoy it, Erica had a nature where she would always wants to grow and never wants to wait in his life.
Everyone here knew that James will never be able to be happy with Erica and like everyone even his mother knew the same but what else she can do when her families' life depends upon James and his marriage. Even after her strongest desire to let James Mary on his fancy, but she could not afford to let him do so and now even they don't have time for it as James is going to turn 25 in 5 days and by then they have to make him Mary Erica so that they could save their families life and could get rid of the curse that naagin and her family imposed on them.
James never thought that his marriage will be held like this , suddenly everything was happening, and he didn't got time, even to think upon and to feel that he is getting married. It means that he had no emotions for Erica and for this wedding, and he was just doing it for his parent's benefit.
James was marrying Erica just because his mother insisted for his father's words.
James knows Erica when he was very young, since he was 7 years old and until now, he knows her, but he never thought that he had to marry her. He was never told even about his father's promise about which she made to Erica's father that when James will turn 25 then Erica and James will marry each other, but James was never told about why at his 25 only his father wants to marry him to any girl he wants but not on James choice but onto his fancy.
James had been treated like this from his very birth, as if he is not his father's son. He was always treated like someone on whom one should impose his decision on…
He was thinking all this when Jeremy ask about what he is thinking about and James excused him saying that he was also listening them, but he wasn't but was thinking something else.
"Okay, okay now I think we all should head towards the parking , while being busy in the conversation I forgot to tell everyone here about that uncle black was calling everyone so that we could head for the Azamgarh Palace as it is already very late, and we have to reach until 7 o'clock there, as the engagement is at 8 o'clock".
Jeremy proceeded and after him everyone headed towards the parking area so that they could head for the Azamgarh Palace which was about 25 km away from the town.
After they reached to the parking area.....
Uncle Jack and uncle black were asking everyone to hurry as the weather wasn't favorable, and it could rain any time and the force of the wind which was blowing was also very rough and therefore anything can happen in the way; therefore they said to hurry so that they could reach before the weather becomes harsher.
There were three cars and everyone settled inside and then after leaving the mantion completely on the servants, the family left for the Azamgarh Palace. Azamgarh Palace is and the place Azamgarh is in India, and it is known as one of a historical place. It is believed that many kings and Queens had ruled there.
This was the place where James and his family used to live before coming to the town and before starting their business in the town.
