Chapter 219 - Everyone Dies, Eventually

A carriage was moving away from the grand mansion of the Sulten, leaving its premises. Inside were the noble couple to whom Kin had been sold not too long ago. Both had just finished their work with the Sulten, who had summoned them earlier and were finally heading home.

As they traveled, the man spoke.

"That took longer than I expected," he said.

"Yes, pumpkin, but what do you expect? The war is finally reaching its final stages. Hadia will fall soon, and King Jai will win. Once that happens, the Kingdom will stabilize, but that will mean more work for us since we run things," the woman replied.

"True. I can't believe the prince is still alive, though. King Jai needs to take care of him quickly if he wants to have a firmer grip on the throne," the man said.

"Not really. The prince was hated even as a prince. I doubt anyone reasonable would want to ally themselves with such a fool. He's not worth the time. King Jai can simply take his time finding the prince and execute him once he does. The boy is just an heir by name. No one is going to make that brat King," the woman said dismissively.

"You're right once again, pumpkin. And with Jai on the throne, we can make better deals with Lady Rita. She will be happy to know that she can now carry out her business anywhere in Wize, and we will get to be at the forefront of it," the man said.

"Ahh, yes, the bliss. Arranging and selling the most beautiful toys in the world to people all over Wize. Not only will we be rich, but we'll also get a huge load of information on who those perverts are and blackmail them. Ahh, what great joy," the woman replied with a smile.

"Yes, indeed. Speaking of toys, it seems you will finally get to play with the one from this morning."

"Oh, right. Ashin, my beautiful boy. He's going to make one hell of a playmate," she replied, grinning.

"Indeed. I also look forward to picking a new one. I hope it lasts like the last one. I enjoyed playing with her all too well," he said, licking his lips.

"Ahhh, pumpkin. It's always fun playing alongside you," the woman said.

"Same here," the man replied.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the house and walked into the mansion, accompanied by the four guards who had escorted them. Once inside, they were greeted by an eerie silence.

Since it was already night, they assumed everyone was probably asleep, as they never had many staff, due to their... extracurricular activities. They made their way through the house.

The man turned to one of the guards.

"Fetch two toys for me and my wife, please," he said. "We will be in the red room."

"Yes, my lord," the guard replied.

"Don't just bring anyone. There's a boy with a bald head in there. That's the one I want," the woman said and followed her husband.

The guard made his way to the basement to collect the 'toys.'

When he arrived, he noticed the door to the basement was open—strange, considering there was always someone stationed outside in case the 'toys' needed attention. But now, no one was there.

The guard approached the room, drawing his sword. As he pushed the door open, he was met with a gruesome scene. Everyone—guards and the 'toys'—had been cut down.

Immediately, he wanted to scream, but an arrow shot through his mouth, coming from the other side. The guard dropped to the ground, dead.

"I've been expecting you," Kin said, walking out of the room carrying a girl. He placed her near the basement's entrance. "Stay here while I clean everything else," he told her.

Kin then moved through the house. Using eyes of Ra, he was able to discern the position of everyone in the house easily. In the kitchen, he found the first guard taking food. Kin killed him before he could make a sound.

After that, he went to the red room, where the remaining two guards were stationed outside.

Kin didn't bother hiding anymore. He simply walked toward them.

The guards noticed someone coming and were surprised. A young boy, covered in blood, was walking toward them unarmed.

When Kin was close enough, he noticed their shocked expressions and touched the blood on his face.

"Oh, this?" he said casually. "Don't worry, it's not mine."

It took the men a moment to fully understand what Kin had said, given how much blood covered his body. By the time they did, it was too late. Kin drew Ken, killing the first guard in an instant.

The second guard was able to block Kin's first strike, but Kin was quick. Trained by a trickster, he immediately switched from Ken to the Angel's Bow, drawing it at point-blank range, right in the guard's face.

The arrow lodged itself in the guard's eyes, and before he could scream, Kin ended his life.

Kin then stood before the door to the red room and knocked.

The noblewoman turned toward the door and spoke.

"Well, took him long enough," she muttered.

"You can bring them in," she called loudly.

The door slowly opened, but it wasn't the person they expected.

The couple stared at Kin, his figure stained with blood, making him look more like a fiend than a boy. He closed the door behind him, locking it.

He looked at the noble couple and smiled.

"My Lady, my Lord. Prince Kin, at your service," he said.

"I'll be entertaining you tonight," he added, causing both of them to stare at him in shock.

Kin smiled again. "So, what would you like to start with? Whipping, chaining, or maybe something a bit more intimate... if you catch my drift?" he said with a devious smile.
