Chapter 123 - Chapter 123

In the end, it was an easy choice. The sacrifice of a few to grant eternal paradise to the many different was the correct choice and Hades would never doubt that. If it was for his inherited goal he would give up the world.

Pulling the very fabric of reality into him the destroyed and tattered realm he rules over stretched endlessly before ripping free of its borders. In the end, it had only taken a single second for Hades to become one with his realm and for his body to be restored completely.

In that single second, a wave of poison and flames reached the deity. It was odd however that Albion's poison was comparable to Ddraig's flames. They were inherently equivalent however the difference in energy had created the gap between them.

"Haha! Vali!!!" Screaming with glee Albion had never been happier. He hated being weaker than his rival and though he had no qualms with his host he did often regret the difference born from that spawn of Satan.

Infinite energy comparable to the dragon heart would infinitely surge through Ddraig's body through his connection to Damian Thaumiel. It may not be quite the same but their bodies being most entirely spiritual made Ddraig arguably stronger than at his peak. He couldn't utilize his abilities to the fullest but he was almost impossible to defeat.

But now, he had a similar blessing! It wasn't quite infinite as what Ddraig had access to but it certainly was no small amount. Vali already had a sea of demonic energy at his disposal but now, for reasons Albion could hardly explain, that sea had grown to the size of an entire planet.

With this newfound energy he could use freely Albion found himself growing reckless, poison spilling from his body endlessly in an attempt to corrupt the little bit of the realm remaining around them.

"… A faulty plan." Scoffing in disinterest Hades effortlessly defused the poison that entered his body, the storm of deadly mist that billowed out of him defending him from the breath of both emperors.

Though merging with his realm had directly enhanced his power in a more permanent manner the greatest benefit was surely the ability to reach his abilities outward. Energy struggled to spread in the air so most magic was created close to the user's body. However, now that was hardly an issue when he had a piece of existence within himself.

"Faulty plan my ass. The white one's poison hurt you didn't it?" Laughing at Hades' piercing glare, Ddraig found infinite amusement in their opponents' hatred. The battle had raged on for quite a while and though things may seem even they weren't quite what they wanted.

Hades was injured, there was no denying it, but it was also easy to remember that he had just been healed by merging with the realm. On the other hand, the emperors were mostly unharmed on the surface but internally they were struggling.

The Blue and Black Ones were already reaching the limit of their dragon heart's power, their bodies quickly falling apart at their seams. Albion was momentarily fine but Vali's energy was not infinite like his own was. Ultimately, Ddraig would quickly become the only one standing.

"This farce has—!" Raising a hand deathly energy gathered around Hades' palm, a powerful strike forming in his grasp that would surely destroy entire continents. However, a beam of stellar energy crashed into the deity's body, the skeleton god flying backward as his bones took on a black tint.

"Just in time~☆!" Cheerfully interlining in the battle the dreary skies of the dimensional gap did nothing to reduce the brilliant light that illuminates the very existence of Ai Hoshino. She was a star, a being that shined brightly no matter how dark the world was.

Using the surprise from Ai's timely arrival a thick pillar of heavy metal dropped from the sky, the oddities of the gap doing nothing to stop the rapidly accelerating descent. Crashing into the god, the pillar had enough power to reduce humanity to the Stone Age. Of course, this would be difficult to reproduce without the infinite size of the gap but that was neither here nor there.

"Railguns are as useful as always." The gruff yet almost childish voice of Magnus Rose was difficult to hear over the explosion but those that did hear him wouldn't deny him. Though it utilized gravity more than magnetic fields it was undeniably powerful.

"Do not interrupt me." Spitting out those words a barrier covered shades, not a single crack on its surface as the metal rod floated atop it. Mentally commanding it the rod flew into the air and shot toward its sender, blood soaring into the air as Magnus was separated from his left arm.

It was an insanely quick movement, so quick in fact that Magnus' wound had already been healed and his limb was instantly destroyed. It had been impossible to see by both Magnus and the four emperors.

"I've played with you fools too long. Begone." At that single command, all of them were sent flying back without any chance to catch themselves. It was only after flying thousands of miles that their trip ended and they could regain their balance.

The four emperors wasted no time returning to combat while the rest lagged behind a mere instant, their return to combat delayed by their momentary surprise. However, the first to move was, unfortunately, Hardes.

Moving faster than the Dragon of Eternity could see Hades appeared atop the Blue Dragon. It only took a single strike from the God's staff for a blade of deathly energy to pierce and invade the heart of an emperor.

"Blame your master for your unnecessary death." Turning away from the dying lizard Hades didn't spare any pity for the young hatchling. They were enemies and he would be spared no pity on his deathbed. It was the nature of combat with no room for emotions.

Shooting out the blue scaled hand of the dragon of eternity grasped his body tightly, an absurd amount of strength surging through the dying dragon's body as he glared at the deity that had destroyed his heart in pure hatred.

"You pesky rat!" Spitting out those words Hades thrashed against the lizard's grasp, deathly energy billowing out from him in a futile attempt to force open Ordes' hand. Hades was one of the strongest beings alive and yet he couldn't remove himself from the grasp of one measly dying lizard!
