Harry and Ellie found a stall and before they could start ordering, Harry's phone rang. He took it out and saw that it was Sophia. They had exchanged contact information with each other last night.
Wondering why Sophia was calling him, he immediately answered.
"Hey, little fat girl, what can I do for you?" Harry asked.
He was still used to calling her Little Fat Girl, and Sophia did not mind.
"Harry, where are you now? Do you want to have dinner together?"
Sophia gingerly posed the question at the other end of the phone.
Hearing this, Harry declined directly. "I'm sorry, little fat girl. I have something on now and can't have a meal with you. Let's do it next time. I'll schedule a time to invite you."
"Okay, let's meet another time."
Hearing Harry's refusal, Sophia's tone sounded a lot more disappointed.
But Harry clearly didn't hear it. After Sophia agreed, he gave a soft grunt and hung up.
"Yo, I couldn't tell, Harry. You're quite popular. Which little girl called just now? I can't believe you rejected her so heartlessly," Ellie teased.
But Harry smiled calmly and explained, "What? She's my high school classmate. I met her again last night."
"Harry, what are you doing here?"
Ellie was about to speak when a voice spoke from behind.
Harry and Ellie looked behind them at the same time. What greeted them was a beautiful face, but it was filled with jealousy.
"Little fat girl, why are you here so quickly? Didn't you just end the call?"
But Harry did not notice and asked curiously.
It was Sophia. She had actually been here a long time ago. She had summoned her courage to call Harry just now, but he had rejected her. She had been very disappointed and was about to go back when she turned around and saw a familiar figure. She called out, and it was really Harry. Seeing Ellie sitting beside him, she instantly felt very uncomfortable.
But Sophia didn't answer him. She just stared straight at Ellie. She realized that the woman in front of her was every bit as good as she was. This gave her a sense of crisis, and she couldn't help but let her imagination run wild.
Who is this woman? Is she Harry's new girlfriend? Did Harry refuse me just now because he wanted to accompany her?
As a woman, Ellie saw Sophia's hostile gaze and immediately understood. It seemed that this girl liked Harry and had misunderstood my relationship with him.
However, for some reason, she did not want to explain. She just wanted this girl to misunderstand.
However, as a teacher, she took the initiative to stand up and explain, "Hello, my name is Ellie. I'm Harry's class mentor."
Sophia, who was still unhappy, was at a loss. So this woman is Harry's teacher. Then I've misunderstood her?
Thinking of this, she quickly replied, "Hello, Teacher Ellie. My name is Sophia. I was Harry's high school classmate."
After sizing up Sophia, Ellie smiled and said, "So you're the classmate Harry mentioned. I didn't expect you to be so beautiful. Harry is really lucky to have such a beautiful female classmate like you."
Sophia blushed when she heard Ellie's words. "Teacher Ellie, you must be joking. Teacher Ellie is prettier."
After this, the two of them fell silent, not knowing what to say.
"Alright, why do girls like to flatter each other?"
Seeing that the atmosphere had turned cold, Harry made a small joke to ease it. Then he looked at Sophia and said, "I was helping Teacher Ellie move things today, so she is buying me a meal. Since we happened to meet, let's eat together."
Sophia was very happy to hear Harry's words. She glanced at Ellie and said reservedly, "That's not good. After all, Teacher Ellie is giving a treat."
But she was thinking to herself: Is he explaining himself to me? Does this prove that I'm important to him?
If Harry knew what she was thinking, he might be speechless. Wasn't he just explaining simply? Even if they were ordinary friends, he would also explain.
"It's fine. It won't cost much anyway. Let's eat together," Ellie said with a smile.
"Thank you, Miss Ellie."
This time Sophia did not refuse. After thanking her, she sat unceremoniously on Harry's other side.
Her purpose tonight was to have dinner alone with Harry. For that, she had left her best friends behind and been teased by them. Now that she had achieved her goal, she would not stand on ceremony. Although Ellie was also present, it was better than being rejected by Harry.
Harry looked at both of them, feeling a little strange, but he didn't ask. He just handed over the menu and said, "You two can order. I'm not averse to anything. I'll eat anything."
The two women politely gave precedence to each other. In the end, it was Harry who ordered the dishes.
Not long after the dishes were served, the three of them were about to eat when a voice came over.
"Sophia, why are you here? What a coincidence."
