Albert did not care if he lived or died. After instructing on how to deal with him, he got someone to drag him out. Then he looked at Harry obscurely to check if he was satisfied with this punishment.
Harry saw the look in Albert's eyes and understood. He nodded subtly.
Albert was relieved to see this. It would be alright as long as Harry was satisfied.
He slowly walked up to Harry and the others and said apologetically, "Dear guests, what happened today was my dereliction of duty. In order to make up for my mistake, I booked a private room for you. I'll pay for today's expenses."
Everyone looked at Albert in front of them. They could not believe that the legendary figure of Litho City was right in front of them and had personally apologized to them. If they were not involved in the matter, who would dare to say that they had seen Albert apologize to anyone? Even if there was, no one would believe them.
Harry was the only one who remained emotionally unaffected. Albert was only one of his subordinates, and he might have dozens of such subordinates, or even more, so there was nothing to be excited about.
"Okay, sorry to trouble you," Harry replied flatly.
Then, under Albert's personal lead, the few of them arrived at VIP Room 1. It was the most luxurious private room in the Mook Bar. It cost 50,000 yuan a night.
As soon as they entered the private room, everyone exclaimed. The four crystal lamps overhead were flickering with blue, yellow, and green lights. Five separate tables were arranged in a triangular shape, with an enormously large digital display screen, paired with two Berliner speakers worth tens of thousands of dollars, it felt like the music was ringing in their ears.
There was also a separate small bar counter where one could order wine and mix them as they pleased.
"Then enjoy yourselves, guests. I won't disturb you anymore."
With that, Albert left with his men. He was anxious to report the situation to the butler.
After Albert left, they recovered from their shock.
"Was that Albert, the number one person in Litho City? Am I seeing things?"
Emily, who had been quiet, spoke in disbelief.
"You're not mistaken. That was Albert. But it's too much of a coincidence. It's hard to believe that Albert came just as a conflict erupted here and he even personally apologized to us," Lucas exclaimed with emotion.
Everyone also felt puzzled when they heard Lucas's words.
"What's wrong with that? It might just be a coincidence. This is someone else's property to begin with. It's not strange for him to appear here," Harry said lightly.
Of course he knew why Albert was here, but he wouldn't say. No one would believe him if he did. He might even be called a fool.
Everyone thought that it made sense. They could only say that they were lucky.
They abandoned their doubts and began to have fun in the private room. After all, none of them had ever been to such a luxurious place.
At the booth, Chloe looked at Freddy and asked suspiciously. "Honey, why would Albert help Harry? Do the two of them know each other?"
"How is that possible? Who is Albert? He's the number one person in Litho City. How can a poor man like Harry know Albert? I think he's just lucky to bump into Albert at the Mook Bar."
Before Freddy could speak, Jessica spoke up.
Freddy, who had been watching the show, looked grim. He hadn't expected Harry to be so lucky. Harry had offended Andy but he was fine. Instead, Andy had been implicated. Hearing their conversation made him even more frustrated.
"Alright, he's lucky today. Let's go."
With that, Freddy left. He didn't want to stay here any longer or he'd feel even more upset.
Chloe and Jessica looked at each other. They didn't understand why Freddy was suddenly angry, but they didn't say anything. They left with him.
In the private room, Harry and Sophia were sitting together. Sophia looked at Harry and asked, "Harry, do you really not remember me, or do you not want to acknowledge me?"
Hearing Sophia's words, Harry's eyes revealed confusion. "Sophia, we just met for the first time today, how could I possibly know you?"
Sophia felt a little disappointed at that. It seemed that he had really forgotten about me.
"But I do know someone with the same name as you. A high school classmate of mine. But we haven't been in touch for a long time. And she's not like you. She's a little fat, and you're so thin. You can't be her."
Then Harry spoke again.
The disappointment in Sophia's heart disappeared instantly as she listened to Harry. "What if I'm her?" she said playfully. "Harrykid."
"That's impossible. How could you… Wait, what did you call me?"
Harry was about to deny it, but when he heard Sophia's address, he exclaimed.
Harrykid was his nickname in high school. Other than his high school classmates, very few people knew about it. Could this Sophia in front of him be that Sophia back then? But how was that possible?
"Little fat girl?"
Harry looked at Sophia and asked cautiously.
Hearing Harry's exclamation, Sophia chuckled. "Yes, I'm the little fat girl."
