At the Human Resources Department office, a female staff member who was sorting through resumes at her desk near the door heard a knock.
Without giving it much thought, she got up to open the door.
Then she saw a dense crowd of people standing outside, and she couldn't help but be taken aback.
She instinctively started wondering: Was there a problem with attendance? Or did an entire department collectively run into an issue?
After all, so many people coming together couldn't possibly be due to a lack of staff wanting to submit recruitment requests.
Whenever a department or group was short-staffed, it was enough for a leader to come and explain the situation, there was no need for so many people!
"What can I help you with?"
Fred, who was leading the group, politely smiled and said to her, "We're looking for your supervisor, as we want to resign."
"Huh?" The female staff member was dumbfounded.
