[Warning: Three-headed Medusa serpent]
"Water Blade" Elvis reacted fast and didn't want to waste time waiting for them to attack him first.
(Swoosh!) The water blade cut off the middle head, leaving just two heads, left and right.
"Fireball!" He conjured out a huge ball of flame from his mouth.
(Boom!) The flame hit them before they could retreat.
[New skill learned: Fireball]
Elvis was sharp with his tactics, attacking with a double combo before they could attack at all.
"Hehehe, I am a genius," Elvis smiled at himself.
He got close but noticed that the serpent was burned to a crisp.
"F*CK, I should have thought of this first; now how am I going to eat this to gain at least one of their skills?" That's when his eyes spotted one of the heads of the serpent.
(Gulp.) Elvis swallowed his saliva hard; the head of the snake looks not just disgusting but creepy to eat.
"Let me just roast this; maybe it will look better and probably taste better."
Even though the devourer skill just swallowed up its target with a black vortex, he could still feel the aftertaste.
He fried it and used his devourer ability, swallowing up the head of the serpent.

[Skill gained: Eye of Petrification]
"No wonder why it's called the three-headed Medusa serpent," the young dragon said as he checked the new skill he had gained.
Elvis continued his journey; he met so many monsters on the way, some of which he easily defeated and others he made sure to avoid.
He was not greedy for the monster's magical abilities; hence, he knows when to avoid challenging a powerful monster unless his life depends on it.
It took Elvis two weeks to leave the mountain successfully; within that time, he had gotten a bit bigger and gained quite a lot of handy skills.
[Name:... (Elvis)]
[Race: young dragon]
[Unique skills: fire manipulation, water manipulation, devourer, regeneration]
[Skills: Eye of Medusa , steel body, perfect mimicry, heat sensor, poison]
[Resistance: Cold immunity; pain resistance; fire resistance]
[Steel body: This skill allows the skin of the user to be as hard as metal. This ability is an ability of a restal lizard]
(Restal lizard: A monster lizard that eats minerals, which makes its scales hard. The rare the mineral is, the tougher its scales would become.
[Heat sensor; ability to sense heat; gotten from random snake monsters]
[Perfect mimicry allows the user to mimic anything he has eaten.]
This means Elvis can perfectly mimic monsters he has eaten in the past.
The skill was obtained from his last fight with slime monsters on the first floor of the mountain cave.
Elvis was outside the cave with his back turned against the entrance of the mountain.
He breathed in and breathed out.
"Now this is more like it—fresh air and beautiful scenery," he said happily; after all, the cave is always dark and filled with only rocks and monsters.
"Finally free! Hahaha!" Elvis spread his dragon wings and began to run excitedly across the entire forest.
After running for a while, all excited, he began to ponder, looking left and right.
"Uhm... "So what's next?"
"First thing first is to find somewhere safe to live and then hunt for food," he thought.
(Sighs), "It seems that I am already getting used to this lifestyle," he murmured.
Elvis finally found a small, bear-looking cave after searching for quite some time; he stepped in carefully in case any monsters lived there.
Luckily for him, no creature was in at the moment. The young dragon laid down but didn't let his guard down against any beast that might approach the cave.
Two hours later, nothing had happened; no monster or beast approached the cave. Elvis then became sleepy and fell asleep.
Ever since he has gotten into this world, he has not had a proper sleep. Surviving as a young dragon without a mother is troublesome.

In the human kingdom...
Knights and adventurers of various ranks lined up in front of the castle.
Two royal knights stood on the castle balcony with trumpets in their hands.
(Pom, pom, pom!)
The trumpet was blown to signify the arrival of the king, who also appeared on the balcony with prime ministers at his sides.
The knights and adventurers all kept quiet and went on their knees to greet the king.
"Long live his majesty!"
The king, whose name is Raymond, looked at the people and then back at his ministers.
"Your majesty, these are the forces we could mobilize in time for the raid," the minister on the left side spoke out.
"Good, these forces should be enough; sending the adventurers along with the knights is a great idea."
"Good job!" The king complimented the ministers for their efforts.
He then faced the bunch of adventurers to address them, "Listen up."
The king began to explain everything to the adventurers; although they knew a little about the mission, the king explained the details of the mission to them, which made them worried because whatever the human king deems a threat is a threat to humanity.
King Raymond noticed that the adventurers became worried, so he decided to boost their morale by saying, "Don't worry; you all are brave warriors of the human kingdom, and the threat can't be powerful in just two weeks."
"Yes, his majesty is right."
"So there's nothing to be worried about."
"Yeah, as long as we eliminate the threat before it gets strong." The crowd's morale was boosted.
The king smiled and said once more, but in a more commanding voice, "I want you to eliminate any monsters that are not meant to be in the forest or mountains." "Kill any beasts you assume are a threat to us!"
"Yes, your majesty!" Everyone shouted.
"For humanity!!" The king released an aura of leadership and shouted to once again light up their spirits.
"For humanity!!!!!" They shouted happily once more.
