Chapter 10 - Movements

Thirio rose from his slumber with a jolt, vision slowly coming into focus as he looked around the cracked filled room.

Thirio thought back to his last thoughts before he succumbed to the overwhelming pain, 'seeing as I'm alive, it safe to assume my breakthrough was successful.'

Casting internal vision to check his body's condition, shock and excitement filled him at what he saw as the spheres were almost corporeal; the energy within them had all been amassed into a single crystalline liquid shaped droplet, but the energy being emitted was twice the amount he had from before.

The changes didn't stop there though, as his body, senses, and though he hadn't tried Thirio could sense that the energy around him was very active from his presence alone, " I'll have to try for some time to gain full mastery, but the increase in overall strength is beyond my expectations," sitting quietly, Thirio scanned every aspect of his body for any changes induced by him stepping into the Extreme stage.

Entering a deep meditative trance, Thirio fully focused on understanding his current strength and the most effective ways to make use of it.

___

Reva sat with a scowl marring her beautiful face at the report sitting before her, "damn, those mother-fuckers, saying they are here just visiting," the more she read the deeper her anger at the piss poor excuses given in response to her kind warning.

Having already gone through the information provided in her first two days on the planet, Reva sent out members of the silver division to issue warnings to all related parties on the action they should take, but this was their response to her kindness, taking a calming breath she suppressed her rising ire.

Since they hadn't outright done anything and the planet itself wasn't under the governance of any one race, she couldn't be too heavy handed with how she handled the matter without backlash falling on the human race.

"I fucking hate diplomacy."

Glancing back towards the information of the overall situation, Reva smiled, turning to one of her captains in the room.

" What do you make of this situation; don't you think it weird that so many people are rushing to this usually deserted planet all because of it going through an evolution."

"It is weird, but all we need to do is ensure our race's safety and profit; my real concern lies with how many individuals are hidden and their strength. Though with the general here, even that doesn't really matter."

Smiling at the captain, Reva gave a nod of approval; he could realize the bigger problem as well as she could, but the real concern was if anyone from that particular race really joined the fray as she thought they would, the situation would become extremely dire based on their actions.

"Let's not think too much about it; the realm should be opening in the next week or so, let's just go and smash whoever stands in our way like the Blood Division is known to."

___

Thirio shifted uncomfortably in his seat as the person across from him eyed him like a predator would its prey.

"My my, aren't you full of surprises; to achieve success so quickly, makes me can't help but want to gobble you up," sensually licking her lips Senna continued to hotly run her eyes blazing with want across Thirio's body.

'Should I just take him all for myself at this very moment; it's obvious he made it to the Extreme stage, but from the minor fluctuations I'm sensing he might have gotten more threads than I expected,' pulling the brakes on her thought, Senna calmed herself down to finalize the business that brought her lucky cat here.

Having been at the other end of those ravenous green eyes for too long, Thirio counter attacked.

"That intense look of desire packs quite an impact when coming from a chocolate beauty like you Senna,it almost made me think you actually wanted to take me" shooting a compliment to break away from the silence and stare, Thirio finally found his calm.

"Oh, were you finally swayed by my charms after prolonged exposure, though you aren't wrong the thought did indeed cross my mind.

If it's you, I don't mind giving you a chance to make me yours," licking her lips sensually, Senna punctuated each word with a seductive tone that reverberated from her chest, causing the mountain to sway at the sudden earthquake.

Stoically staring at the woman and sighing, Thirio conceded his loss, "enough with the petty games; your guess is right, I'll say no more than that. Now the information I need so I can be on my way, The planet seems quite rowdy, and a lot of new faces have popped up since I was last out."

"I'd expect no less from you lucky cat; all you need is on the chip, and as I'm your contracted merchant, the fee will only be at the low price of 300,000 origin crystals of the first rank and I'm sure you know why it's pricey."

Taking the chip from the table, Thirio made the transfer, vacating the room quickly after the deal was done, "shouldn't you have taken the offer to chase such a bombshell of a chocolate goddess, think of all the things you could do with breasts and ass as big and supple as her's were….."

Tuning out the perverted rants of Vadne, Thirio places the chip on his watch, downloading all the information to his terminal, crushing the chip upon its completion.

'Vasilias should have more information about what's taking place on this planet,' with that thought in mind, Thirio quickly returned to his base before venturing out into the surrounding forest to hunt and hone his strength for the coming turmoil he sensed brewing on the planet.

____

[Do you need assistance from the family, while it may lower your standing some, it will still be better than your death in the scramble about to take place.]

[It's fine, I have my ways to ensure my safety furthermore, this is a good chance for me to increase the gap between myself and the others after all I'm still not at the top, plus I have a good friend here that I want to ensure makes it through safely.]

[Does he show as much promise as you believe him to.]

[Only time can tell, but I do believe in his greed and hunger to strive towards greater heights and power, plus he's the only true friend I've made during those school years. It'll leave a scar on me to only look out for myself now; we've always been a pair from day one after all.]

[Very well, I won't try to persuade you any further; It seems your mind's made up. May the scales always be equally in your favor.]

[May the scales always be equally in your favor.]

Watching the holographic screen fade; Vasilias gave a tired sigh, a slight smile on his lips, "the old man finally gave up, I've won myself at least a year or two of freedom for now, more planning will be needed to avoid going back."

Stretching out on his large bed. Vasilias stared at the ceiling lost in thought; the information about the changes taking place on the planet he received was a shock but also a heaven-sent opportunity that one could rarely find.

"Attribute Imprinting," light shone quietly within his eyes as he said those words.

For such a phenomenon to happen within such a barren place was truly a mystery, but he didn't care about it, leave it for those stronger and higher on the food chain to think about. What he wanted now was to snatch as much of the good stuff as he could with his good brother.

Thinking of said brother made him wonder how strong he was after all this time, would he be able to stand against those silver spoon fools or maybe a golden spoon, just thinking about all the mayhem they could cause together set his blood aflame with excitement.

*Beep*

Looking at the caller information displayed, Vasilias smiled, 'took him long enough.' A simple touch connected the call.

[Well, well, well, look who finally decided to check-in, some best friend you are.]

[I can always hang up and never call again, and here I was thinking of bringing you out for a good time.]

[Funny enough, I had the same thought. I'm sure we have the same place in mind; I'll come over to the city you're closest to tomorrow.]

[I'll contact an acquaintance to join us, from the info I have, this trip may be our last if we're not careful. I'll meet you at the lobby of Vamond Tower tomorrow.]

[Until then, try not to get into any trouble, Thirio.]

Rising from his bed, Vasilias stormed out as the call ended, "It's time to stir up some trouble,' chuckling to himself Vasilias went about preparing for the coming trip.

___

"How long do you think we have before the core realm opens Vadne," watching the carcasses being devoured by the churning vortex, Thirio posed his question to the flame resting on his left shoulder.

"A week, though I do have to say you are quite lucky to encounter this phenomenon so soon after stepping out into the cosmos. Try your best to swallow as much as you can, even if it feels like you're at death's door."

"Honestly, I have a lot I wanna ask you, but I doubt you'll answer anyway."

Pulling his energy to the surface, Thirio marveled at the connection he felt with the energy in a 6-meter diameter around him.

Having spent the last six hours hunting, he had a firm grasp on what he was currently capable of and he had nothing to fear from any being below the peak of the budding realm that hadn't broken their previous realm limit.

"Let's head back now; I need to contact Rian."

The journey back to base was uneventful; there was no beast in the surrounding that could threaten Thirio at his current level of power, which made the short trip quite boring, in his opinion.

Thirio came to a stop right outside the barrier protecting his base, coldness flashing within his eyes, rumbling resounding within from his surging energy, punching at a tree in the distance; a small azure dragon lunged from his fist, ripping the air around it to shreds, it quickly arrived at its intended location, bringing with it waves of destructive energy that eradicated the tree, leaving a smoking crater in its wake.

"Get out here! Or you won't be so lucky next time," Thirio snarled at his surroundings; seeing no response, Thirio gave a calm smile, his body exploded with an oppressive aura causing all the energy around him to hum while surging towards him.

The surging energy rose into a small storm that tore the forest within its radius to shreds from the forceful movement.

Thirio standing at the center was cloaked by a dreamy silver light; a loud howl resounded seconds later into the silent surroundings.

___

Lazily relaxing on a tree branch was a member of the silver-moon division.

He had been one of the many lucky men to be sent out to check the locations of the students, to see how many were still alive and report back to General Reva the exact number.

So imagine his surprise when his honed senses warned of incoming danger.

Coming face to face with a blast of destructive energy in the shape of a dragon.

'This kid either has good energy manipulation skills, a dragon-related skill or energy, maybe even both,' dodging right before impact; he gave a silent whistle at the carnage the attack left in its wake.

"Get out here! Or you won't be so lucky next time."

Hearing the clear threat within the voice, the soldier pondered his next move when he sensed the movement of energy within the surroundings.

Mouth agape and eyes wide with shock, the soldier watched as all energy within 6-meters rushed towards the student below him.

"What a find, an Extreme stage student appearing is quite the good news for us," beaming happily at what he would receive for bringing back such good news, the soldier's concentration lapsed momentarily but, a moment was all that was needed.

*Boom*

Rocketing back from a blow to the chest; blood dripped from the corner of the soldier's mouth, coming to a stop after toppling his fourth tree.

Patting his chest and feeling a slight sting, his gaze locked with the cold eyes of the youth, 'the new generation is quite fierce, even my uniform's defensive abilities were almost breached by that blow.'

Tapping his watch; the image of a black lion bathing in the glow of a multi-colored moon was shown, "Now, with this, you should know who I am and now that I have seen you, my mission is complete."

Rushing away from the embarrassing situation with those words, a broad grin was plastered on his face when a loud shout from the distance reached his ears.

"FUCK!"
