After the King and I talked, I escorted him to his quarter and decided to wait for Min Yun in his room. It took a few hours before I saw the shadow of Min Yun walking towards his room.
"Min Yun!" I called him with a lower voice. I couldn't dare to wake the people who are already sleeping.
"I-jun?" he looked shocked. He maybe thought I was sleeping already.
"How was your mission?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Thank you. " he looked like he had his victory.
"You did?" I asked again
He smiled "Yes, we did."
"That's good news." I am so happy now because the 2 different events were successful.
"You waited here just to know what happened?"
I nodded, " I'm a bit tense too, you know."
" I locked up the suspect and I will be interrogating him tomorrow."
" Can I come?"
"Sure. By the way what happened to the meeting?"
I sighed. " It was a tough one."
"Why do you say so?" he asked
"All of them hate the king."
"That's given."
"And they're pushing His Highness to get married or in other terms, they want him to marry Kim Shin A."
"Then what happens next?"
"Everybody knows that I will be his bride."
Min Yun's eyes got bigger . " What?"
"I know what you will say. I have no choice, all I think was to save the king."
"Did he force you?"
"No. It is my own will. I can't help seeing his people mock him. It was so frustrating."
He deeply sighed. " I have nothing to do with your decision. If I were you, I would save the king as well."
" The king needs us. He has no people on his side."
"But you have to be careful since you are not a real park. They shouldn't know about our secret."
" I will never forget."
"Do you want to come in and have some tea?"
"No,no. I know you are tired, I should go back to my room."
"Okay, if that's what you want."
"Thank you for sparing me some time."

When I woke up in the morning, I heard a continuous knock on the door. Even though I wanted to sleep, I still got up and opened the door.
"Your Highness?"
"May I come in?" he asked.
I looked at his court ladies and eunuchs who were standing at the back of the king.
"Yes,sure." I widely opened the door and let him in .
"Did I wake you up?" he asked while staring at the things in my quarter.
"No, actually I just woke up before you knocked on the door." I lied.
" I brought food"
He put the silver silk cloth and inside it was a food container.
"You don't have to, but thanks anyway."
"Can we eat together?"
"Yeah sure, wait let me just make tea and serve the food that you brought. "
I went to the kitchen and started making tea. People will surely talk about us. The king really indulged himself in acting as my future husband. But what if time will come that we should part ways? or what if the enemies really wait for the wedding?
After making the tea, I already served it to the king. I already sat on the floor and prepared myself to eat.
"I had a good sleep." the king started.
I looked at him while munching the food in my mouth. I smiled at him "That is good news."
"I am just so happy. Thank you."
"It is nothing your Highness. I just need to use my instinct to help you."
"Can you really put yourself into this? The following days might be tough for you."
"I am expecting that to happen."
"The first time I met you, I have already seen your bravery. "
I stared at him. "I need to survive."
"Survive for what? You belong to a noble family. You don't need to work hard."
"You belong to a noble family too, but aren't you still surviving?"
He laughed. " I know right. I shouldn't have said that word. It came back to me."
" Just don't let them ruin you. Protect the throne at all costs. Expect that Kim Man Shik will do something horrible again."
" What happened last night will surely be upsetting for him." The king agreed.
"After we eat, do you want to go somewhere else?"
" I want to go to Min Yun's office. I heard he caught the murderer in Kipatchi town."
"Right. I also asked him if I could come to his office and see the murderer."
"Let's finish eating"
I nodded and we ate fast.

Kim Man Shik's pov
"Lady Kim Shin A doesn't want to stop crying. What should I do, master?"
I closed my fists. I am really mad at what happened last night. It looks like the Kim clan was degraded by the king.
I stood up and went to my daughter's room. I saw her lying on her bed, crying.
"Is that what I taught you?" I shouted at her.
When he heard my voice, she stood up on her bed. "Father"
"I didn't teach you to just slouch and do nothing. "
"Let's just stop it, father."
"Stop? what are you talking about? We can't just stop and do nothing while the king is enjoying his life!"
"Why are you so mad about him? Did he do anything bad to you to hold a grudge against him?"
"You don't know anything."
"Then tell me, father. I should know what I am fighting for!"
I slapped her. She was off balance because of what I did. She held her cheek while crying.
" Be a useful daughter. If I didn't marry your mother, you are not here. Go back to the palace and do your job. Don't slack off." I said then left her room.
I called my secretary and told him what to do. " I want to meet Min Yun's father. Tell him to have a personal meeting with me. I want to know more about I-jun."
