Chapter 10 - Last test (Day 1)

After a breaf details of the planet by Lyra, the participants stood now in the teleportation chamber Wich will send them to Zillion 52, each participant checked their equipment and weapons one last time. Araquiel gave a confident nod to his teammates - Zivrir, Vorlosva, Nivis and Vellis.

The mission was to gather 100 million points by killing different space monsters. The team knew that this mission would be their ultimate test, and their success would assure their admissions to the Interstellar Union.

Before the teleportation process began, Hadrian Richardus voice reasoned in the room to give them some advice. Hadrian, the supreme commander of the Interstellar Union, had come to offer the team some final words of advice before the teleportation process began. As a seasoned veteran of many space missions, his words carried weight and importance.

"Like Commander Lyra said before," his voice resonated in the room, "your success on this mission is crucial. It will show us if you have the conviction and determination to join the Interstellar Union."

He continued, "Remember, some of you will need to work together as a group. Communication is key for that. You'll need to be aware of your surroundings at all times, and you need to watch each other's backs."

He added, "As for those of you who are going solo, be especially aware of your surroundings. It will be more difficult for you."

The participants listened intently, knowing that Hadrian's words could mean the difference between success and failure on this mission. They knew that their success would not only be a reflection of their own abilities, but also the support of their teammates.

With his final words, Hadrian's voice grew stronger. "Now show us your motivation and ambition," he said. "This mission will test you in ways you've never been tested before. But I have faith that each and every one of you is up to the challenge."

The participants nodded in agreement, feeling a renewed sense of determination and purpose. They knew that the success of this mission would determine their future in the Interstellar Union, and they were ready to give it their all.

With that final nod of agreement, each participants closed their eyes and prepared for the teleportation process to begin.

As the teleportation process began, the participants felt their bodies disintegrate into a million particles. They closed their eyes, took deep breaths, and focused on the task ahead. After a few moments, they felt their bodies reform, and they found themselves on the surface of Zillion 52.

As Araquiel, Zivrir, Vorlosva, Nivis, and Villis opened their eyes, they were amazed by the beauty of the forest. The trees were tall and lush, and the leaves rustled gently in the breeze. The air was fresh and crisp, and the sunlight filtered through the canopy, creating dappled patterns on the forest floor. The landscape was unlike anything they had ever seen before. The sky was a deep shade of purple and the stars twinkled brilliantly.

"This is truly remarkable," Araquiel said, his voice filled with wonder.

Zivrir nodded in agreement. "Yes, it is. But we mustn't let the beauty of our surroundings distract us from our task. We are here to complete a test, and we must focus on that."

"You're right," said Nivis, "but where exactly are we?"

"The guard who gave us our equipment said that our devices have many functions," Villis explained. "There's probably a function with a map."

Araquiel activated his device and began to navigate through the various functions. After a few moments, he found the map function and activated it. A holographic map of the surrounding area appeared in front of them, displaying their current location. The part where they where was named The Munvista Forest and it also showed other places which are probably place where other participant appeared.

"Now that we where we are, we need to know who is best with a sword or a bow, who has the most mana, and who is best at healing. That way, we can assign roles and work more efficiently."said Zivrir.

Araquiel agreed with Zivrir. "Knowing each other's strengths and weaknesses will be crucial in this competition. We need to work together if we want to come out on top," he said.

Nevis added, "We also need to figure out who is good with strategy. We'll need someone who can think ahead and come up with a plan of attack."

Vorlosva spoke up, "All of that is important, but we cannot forget the most critical element: leadership. We need someone who can make quick decisions and keep us all focused and motivated."

The group fell silent, considering Vorlosva's words. After a moment, Araquiel spoke up. "I think we should vote on a leader. We need someone who has the respect of the group and can keep us all on track."

Zivrir nodded in agreement. "I think that's a good idea. We should take some time to think about it and then vote."

The group spent the next hour discussing their strengths and weaknesses, their main weapons, and their affinities. They also talked about their past experiences and how they could use that to their advantage in the competition.

After much deliberation, they finally took a vote on who should be their leader. In the end, they chose Vorlosva. Although she was not the most likable member of the group, everyone recognized her intelligence and strategic thinking and her race were very well known for they hability to lead army to victory so it worked in her favor.

With their leader chosen and their roles assigned, the group felt more confident and ready to take on the competition. They activated their devices and set out into the Munvista Forest, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

As they walked through the Munvista Forest, their device suddenly beeped, indicating the presence of a group of monsters. Araquiel quickly activated the map function, and a holographic image of the creatures appeared before them. The appraised name of the monsters was Kildus, and they looked like a type of amphibian. They had two arms and six legs, with a long, thin tail, and their skin was covered in green scales, the smaller could give them 100 points while the bigger 300.

"The device has indicated that the larger creatures carry a potent poison within their bodies, making them challenging to deal with," Araquiel explained to the group.

Nivis nodded in understanding and asked, "Do you have a plan, leader?"

Vorlosva stepped forward, her sharp teeth glinting in the light. "Yes, Araquiel and I both have strong resistance to poison, so we'll take on the larger creature together. Zivrir, you'll use your arrows to distract the smaller creatures from a distance. If your normal arrows aren't effective, switch to lightning arrows. Nivis, you'll assist Zivrir in taking down the smaller creatures. And Villis, you'll buff the penetration and durability of our weapons to deal even more damage. Are we all clear?"

With their plan in place, the group set out towards their target. The forest was thick and dark in this part, making it difficult to see more than a few feet ahead. But they pressed on, Vorlosva leading the way with her sharp senses.

After a while, they heard rustling in the bushes ahead and knew they were getting closer. Vorlosva signaled for everyone to get into position. Zivrir readied his bow, Nivis and Villis unsheathed their swords, and Araquiel and Vorlosva prepared themselves for the larger creature.

As the first small creature came into view, Zivrir shot an arrow, striking it in the head and taking it down instantly. The others scurried away, but Vorlosva and Araquiel were ready for the larger creature. With their enhanced resistance to poison, they were able to withstand its attacks and deal damage in return.

Nivis and Zivrir continued to take down the smaller creatures, their teamwork impressing even Vorlosva since it's their first time working together. Villis buffed their weapons, making them even more effective against the creatures. Despite the challenge, the group worked together seamlessly, taking down one creature after another.

As Araquiel and Vorlosva drew closer to a more larger Kildus, they noticed that its movements were more erratic, indicating that it was preparing a dangerous and fast attack. With lightspeed-fast reflexes, they dodged the creature's lunges and countered with powerful strikes of their own. Despite the Kildus' powerful attack, it was not able to match Araquiel and Vorlosva speed who ended up wearing down the creature's defenses and ultimately defeating it.

After what felt like hours, the last creature fell to the ground, defeated and with the danger passed, the group breathed a collective sigh of relief. Each one of that add a total of 30k points since they were a team, all of them received the point that the other receive when killing a monster.

They had successfully navigated the Munvista Forest and defeated a group of dangerous monsters.

"Not bad for a new team, but we can definitely do better," Vorlosva remarked.

Zivrir interjected, "You could just say we're good, you know," but Vorlosva chose to ignore him.

"It's only the beginning," Velis chimed in optimistically. "We still need to earn 100 million points to pass this test."

Araquiel let out a sigh and added, "And we only have one month to do it."

Nivis reminded the group, "Let's not forget about the sealed unknown zone, which will only open on the last week of the test."

"We need to come up with a solid plan if we want to reach that 100 million point goal," suggested Zivrir.

Vorlosva nodded in agreement. "We should start by identifying which monster can gave us more points."

Araquiel spoke up, "We also need to make sure we're utilizing our resources effectively. We don't want to waste any time or points."

Nivis added, "And we should keep an eye on the other teams too. It's important to know our competition and stay ahead of them."

As the team brainstormed ideas and strategies, they couldn't help but feel the pressure mounting. The stakes were high, and failure was not an option.

But they were determined to succeed, to prove themselves as a capable and effective team. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but with hard work, dedication, and a bit of luck, they just might be able to overcome the challenges that lay ahead.
