After walking out of the nurses office, the bell for his next class would ring. Running as fast as he could to his next class so he would not be late. "OW!" a person would yelp, Darren, finding himself on the ground rubbing his head in pain, would look up. It was Eric, the school's major football player, as well as his bully since middle school. "Sorry Eric! I'm so sorry!" Darren would be on his knee's apologizing as much as he could. Looking back up, he'd find everyone surrounding them, looking at him, laughing and snickering at his mistake.
Scrambling to his feet, he'd rush through the crowd of blacked out faces, laughing at him as he ran off. His paranoia was getting the best of him at the worst time in the day. Darren just wanted to get out of the school as fast as he could, but he couldn't. He needed these good grades to be as good as his brothers and sisters.
Running to the bathroom with his stuff, he'd slam the stall door shut, dropping his stuff down to the floor. He'd lean against the stall's walls, and start sliding down, putting his head into his knees, crying, hoping all these blacked out faces, and laughing would stop.
*Knock knock knock*
Darren would be startled at first, but calm next when he heard who was knocking on the stall's door "Darren? It's me Tucker, you ok?" Tucker would sound worried "People kept telling me that they saw you running through the halls, looking like you were about to cry.." Tucker would ask in a less worried tone "I'm fine, I..just need some alone time, that's all"
Darren would sound like he was hyperventilating from crying. "Darren, was your paranoia acting up again? What was it this time?" Tucker would question again. "Blacked out faces….they were all laughing and snickering at me, all because I ran into Eric!" Darren would sound slightly pissed, but scared and upset at the same time. "Come on buddy, only 2 more classes, we can skip them if you want" Tucker would have a happy tone in his voice, to Darren, the tone in tuckers voice, would be calming.
Getting up and grabbing his backpack, he'd open the door. "So were are we going to go hide to skip our classes?" Darren would ask tucker, who was smoking on a cigarette, blowing the smoke "We can go to the park that's nearby and hang out there" Tucker would sound ready as ever to sneak past the security guard at the front door. Opening the door quietly as they could, trying not to set the alarm off connected to the doors. They'd both sneak out the doors, Tucker, last to leave, shut the door. Crouching below the bushes, A faint humming would come out of no where on the two young adults right.
