Author's afterword (not so important)

**Author Afterword**

Wooooo, it's finally done—CANTILEVER is finished!

I'm incredibly happy to have completed this baby of mine.

A funny fact about this story is that it was originally in my trash drafts. Yes, in the trash drafts. At first, I wasn't fond of time travel, regression, or whatever people call that genre.

I initially created Raphael as my first oc (he's my first son, woah), wanting to make a man who could be considered a green flag but whose thoughts were a red one. For me, this added a spicy twist to what was already a flavorful dish—giving it a kick.

I created Ezra while thinking of someone with mental issues, someone who struggles with communication, overthinks, overanalyzes, is sensitive to their surroundings but isn't very good at analyzing the behavior of those interacting with him. In original draft, I wanted to make him a man with nihilistic, hopeless, and slightly misanthropic ideas, but I ended up making him an adorable baby with trauma.

As readers might notice, based on almost every novel I write rn, I often use tropes of cat-like bottoms with tops that behave like foxes, dogs, or wolves—lol. This is probably due to my personal taste. I like traits that are hard to earn trust from, but once you do, the reward from someone with a cat-like nature is incredibly sweet. They become docile, caring, and, of course, extremely cute.

If you have any questions about the characters, feel free to ask them in the comments.

Oh, and this year I plan to release another novel, which is somewhat a bit similar to CANTILEVER as it also uses the ocean as a symbol. The difference is that it will be set in a dystopian and omegaverse genre. The title is HEARTBEAT RHAPSODY.

I'll be creating them, the outline is ready, but it will be a short novel, likely not exceeding 200 chapters.

"But author, you still have many unfinished stories!!!!" Okay, I know that, Untainted Bond and Red at the Tip of Your Tongue are still untouched, and that's because I'm experiencing writer's block with them. I can't force myself if I don't have passion for it yet, I don't want to ruin my own story, so I always write with enthusiasm. For those two novels, I feel anxious as if I'm not ready, and if I push myself, the characters in those stories won't end up satisfying.

So this year, I'm focusing on EGOTISTIC, UNAPOLOGETIC, and my new baby, HEARTBEAT RHAPSODY. Remember, I'm doing all of these books alone—no one helps me with creating my babies (Basically, I'm just a single mother birthing bunch of babies!) I write them first in my native language, then translate them into English myself, followed by editing and revising while finding the right vocabulary, etc. It's a long process, took so much times and days, and probably the reason why my brain is exhausted and my hands hurt. And maybe that's also why my book coins are increasing (hehe).

Thank you for your support. Please wish for my hands to heal quickly. I truly appreciate readers who enjoy the stories I create. Once again, thank you. Some of the money I earn will be used to commission an artist to create illustrations of Ezra and Raphael, but for some reason, I haven't gotten around to it yet. But I promise I will!
