"Ezra?"
"Huh?"
"It looks like it's your cell phone ringing."
"Ah... You're right."
Ezra took out his phone from his pants pocket, his eyes widening when he saw the caller's name on the screen. He glanced briefly at Uriel, who said, "Aha, is that your lover? Just pick up." Seriously, that guy has a keen sense of guesswork. Ezra exhaled softly, then swiped to answer.
"Yes Raphael, you called me what's up?"
Uriel leaned back deeper into the chair while watching Ezra with a nosy smile. It was just a phone call, a normal conversation, but somehow he felt a bit shy doing it in front of Uriel.
[I'm good... How about you? Have you eaten?]
"Eaten, as in breakfast? Yes, I've eaten ... Oh, is it lunchtime there?"
