"Ah, it's so hot! My fingers are burning!"
That sentence had been repeating constantly for who knows how many times already. At this point, Ezra wondered if the guy had skin made of steel because no matter how many times scalding hot water touched his skin, it never seemed to faze him.
"Ethan..." Ezra glanced to the side, looking at the man named Ethan wincing as he turned towards him, still incessantly blowing on his fingers. "Can you do that practice in the back...?"
"I feel lonely back there," Ethan grumbled. "So I'd rather do it here."
"What's the difference?" Ezra muttered, looking around the room. The cafe was completely empty, quiet, with only occasional sounds of passing vehicles filling the space.
He couldn't even comprehend why Alex's family chose to open a cafe in this neighborhood. The location was not at all strategic for a coffee business to thrive.
