As he ascended the stairs and reached the second floor, Ezra's eyes widened at the sight of the balcony area, adorned with lush plants and colorful blooming flowers.
Alex plopped down on one of the sofas, furrowing his brow as he narrowed his eyes at Ezra.
"I don't know what you want to talk about, but I'm guessing it's about Raphael."
Ezra turned his head to glance at Alex, who was seated casually. Well, yeah, what else could it be? He wanted advice from someone experienced in same-sex relationships, and Alex was the first person who came to mind.
"I didn't expect you to still be managing this cafe, and it looks pretty crowded downstairs."
Not addressing Alex's question, Ezra deflected to a different topic. Still, he was intrigued by the cafe's current state. When Ezra had worked here, there were at most 5 or 10 customers, yet now the tables downstairs were almost all occupied.
