Chapter 71 - Quality Time with Seia

(6:00PM - Pond near the Villa)
After I left Sora and the group, I head back into the Villa and did a solitary training until the sun had completely set. Maybe I was too preoccupied in my training that as usual, I only took realization when I noticed the darkness of the upcoming night.

"Pretty good I guess." I mused.
I call it a day and head straight into the shower after I entered the Villa. As expected, nothing can beat a cold shower after an hour of continuous training.
I head downstairs after I put an indoor wear and head into the kitchen. There sat the four girls in the kitchen whose unusually quiet for some reason. The place was reeking in awkward tension that the closer I got, the more I feel it.
I Silently sat on the empty seat whom for some reason wasn't next to someone. They probably think about it carefully and intentionally left this empty chair for me to sit in.
Fortunately, the food was ready and has already been served so in order not to torture myself to the awkward tension of this place, I just fill my plate with food and silently head upstairs, planning to eat my food alone into my room.
"Still, no response huh..." I muttered and breathed out a sigh.
It was my turn washing the dishes, so I head downstairs to clean the dishes and head to my room after. I didn't see Rina-san anywhere, so she's probably doing some business right now.
(10:00PM)
I'm supposed to sleep after I washed the dishes expecting that I would be fast asleep since I've been training for noon until night, but I don't feel tired for some reason.
Having nothing to do, I tried to meditate into trying to fall asleep but while in the middle of it, someone came knocking on my door.
"I wonder who it is..." I mused and slowly rose into my bed.
When I open the door, an orange fox kin wearing a blue dress and is carrying a book and other school supplies stood before me. She was visibly anxious shown to her ears and thick tails that's slumped down based on what emotion she's currently feeling. Yes, it was Seia.
"U-um..." Seia stammered, trying her best to speak. "C-can I come to your room...? I was wondering if y-you can teach me about the lessons earlier..."
She was so nervous that she started to tremble. She must have thought that I was currently angry at them. Well, I would be lying if I said that I didn't, but she tried her best to talk to me, so I'll let it slide for the moment. Moreover, I was pretty bored, so her timing was perfect.
"Of course," I gestured her to head inside. "Come in."
"Y-yeah." Seia's lips wrinkled and meekly head inside the room. She might not realize it, but her ears had perked-up and her thick tail was squirming aggressively. It was so adorable to be honest.
I point my hand on the table with a single chair to which she meekly sat into. Since there are only chair in my room, I went somewhere in the Villa to get one. I took the chair and placed it on the opposite of the table—facing Seia.
"Then, what do you want me to teach you?" I asked, as I sat on the chair.
"Uhm," Seia tensely turn the book, looking anxious. "I-It's the part where the three of us doesn't understand much!"
Man, she looks so awfully flustered today. Her ears are back to being slumped again.
"Calm down Seia," I remarked.
"Oh! I-I'm sorry...!" Stuttered, her lips wrinkled. After a moment of pause, keeping her composure and resolve, she started to speak. "U-um! T-the thing is...!"
I already have a gist of what Seia wanted to say.
"About before...! We—"
"You don't have to say anything." I cut Seia's words.
"...Eh?" Seia was loss for words, eyes widened—with tears about to drop from her cheeks. She was probably too pressure that she can't help but tear-up.
"I won't lie that it kind of made me angry, but I had already forgiven it." I remarked, then added. "Please don't do that again. That was very immature of you three. I didn't even know a thing about your promise but you three insist on blaming me."
"I'm sorry..." Seia timidly said, head down—together with her ears who also slumped.
I patted the dejected Seia head to which she twitched in surprise.
"...Eh?" Seia reacted timidly, looking at me in bewilderment. "What are you..."
I knew it would be like this, but I already know what to do in this kind of situation. You see, a person will easily change their feelings and emotions when experienced a sudden stimulation.
"I'm sorry for barging in your space but," I quickly pulled Seia who was in a state of confusion into the bed to which I followed and tickled her rapidly on her sides.
"Guh!! W-what are you—?! GAHAHAHA! P-please stop— HAHAHAHA!"
"I'm sorry but this is the only solution I can think off." I replied as I vigorously tickled her.
A continues moment of tickling made her felt exhausted drastically. I was planning on giving her a stimulation to remove the stress in her, but I started to actually enjoy it. Though, it took a minute of continuous stimulation until I stopped it.
As for Seia, she was laying down face upward trying to catch her breath—drooling and in a state of exhaustion. D-did I take it too far...?
"Huff... Huff... P-please... Huff... N-no more...!" Seia exhaustedly said as she stuttered trying to catch her breath.
"How about it, Seia?" I sat on the bed through her side. "Did it ease your mind a little?"
"Huff... Huff... What do you mean a little... Huff... I-I'm too tired to even think of something..."
"I'm sorry about that. Should I teach you later then?"
"No..." Seia hold me to my arm. "P-please don't... Just give me time to rest..."
"As you wish."
And thus, I patiently waited for her to recover from exhaustion while staying on her side. Hehe, I'm the one responsible after all. But it would at least remove the negative thoughts on her mind.
It didn't take long until Seia finally recovered. The two of us went back into the table so that I could continue teaching him the lesson.
The lesson went for a bit. It was already in the middle of the night and the lampshade is our only source of light that dimly illuminates us. It might be called an exaggeration, but I felt a different vibe coming from this moment. How do I say this, it was beautiful—especially that I have someone to experience this.
It was very similar of that time Me and Luna was in the forest looking in awe at the starry night while resting ourselves through the campfire. Thinking about it, we've come a bit far, aren't we? Even if it's just a little...
In any case, aside from the fact that its already at late night, it was to be expected that Seia will start to feel tired after all that happened earlier.
In the middle of me teaching her, Seia is forcing her eyes not to close trying her best not to fall asleep. Also...
"You're drooling you know?" I pointed out.
"Fweh?!"
Y-yeah... Looks like she was too focused on keeping herself awake that she didn't know she was drooling... (See paragraph Comment)
"Let's continue this tomorrow," I said, closing the book and rose up to my chair. "You should sleep right now. You won't understand anything if you're too tired. I'm also starting to get sleepy so..."
Seia paused for a moment before rose into the chair and follows behind me. But just as I was about to open the door, Seia halted to which I took notice.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Unexpectedly, Seia suddenly embraced me tightly which I was caught surprise. I was stunned for a moment but immediately kept my composure and embrace her back while gently stroking her head. Her ears were twitching adorably that I can't help but smile in response.
"Hey Sai." Seia spoke while her face buried into my chest.
"Yeah?"
"Um," Seia paused, trying to resolve herself from saying something. After a moment. "C-can I sleep here tonight?"
"Eh?" My eyes widened and was stunned to her bold request. "What is it all of a sudden? Did you get into fight with the other two?"
I wouldn't be surprised if that is the reason. But looking at their dynamics to each other, it kind of felt impossible to think about them getting into fight with each other.
"No, that's not the reason." Seia retorted. "I might be getting too shameless for asking something like this when we were mean to you but..."
I don't really mind it but...
"Won't the girls get angry?" I asked.
"So, you're aware huh." Seia replied. her face was still buried into my chest.
"I wonder what you mean...?" I deliberately answered.
"Fufu~ That's so like you..." Seia then get her face off my chest and lift her head and stares to me directly. "Can't I...?"
"Sigh... It can't be helped... Don't complain if the bed's too small, alright?"
"!!" Seia instantly perked up. Her tail was wagging violently. "Yes!"
And thus, the both of us head and lay into the bed. I switch the lampshade of which turned my room into a room of darkness, not fully as the moonlight illuminates the room through the window.
"So warm..." Seia embraced me fully, burying her face into my chest once again like I'm some sort of her pillow. "Goodnight... Fufu~"
"Yeah... Goodnight." I timidly responded and let the somnolent take over me fully—slowly losing my consciousness until I fell asleep.
