Eden looked at her sister's face with displeasure when she woke up that morning. Without even saying sorry for all the trouble Eden had found her in last night, Hailey deliberately ignored Eden during the entire breakfast and kept focusing on her phone rather than looking at Eden's annoyed face. It's not like she hates her sister entirely. She loves Hailey more than herself, but her behavior last night— ignoring all the calls and keeping Eden anxious about her safety—upset Eden.
"Ehem..." Eden tries to make some sounds to attract her sister to talk with her about what happened last night. Hailey just glances at her but makes no sounds. and that triggers Eden's patience. She has shown all good manners towards her elder. She needs to know what happens so she can keep looking for sufficient evidence about the real threat to their entire werewolf clans.
Because the problem keeps happening among the werewolves, the other supernatural creature is not directly affected, as this small problem is only minor towards the other clan. The threat from the rouges also becomes more serious nowadays when they start an attack on humans. The DPO, however, cannot interfere with this problem because the rouges are not a clan or a pack, and certainly not a registered organization under them.
So if the attack or threat comes from the rouges, DPO will not engage in any kind of revenge or reaction. Only the werewolf clan will deal with this issue. However, if they need some help with the fund or evacuation place to keep the elders, women, and little pups safe, DPO will not hesitate to provide for them.
"Look, I know you don't want to talk about last night with me... but I need to know what happened to you last night after you drank at Damien's place, Hailey. I need to know it, please." Hailey finally moved her gaze from her phone towards Eden. She sighs at first before inhaling and exhaling a few times and telling Eden everything she wants to know.
"I don't know what happens after I get drunk." But somehow the taste of the drink last night was quite odd. I know what the real taste of a beer or wine or anything that comes with alcohol is, of course, because I love drinking! But these past couple of months, whenever I start to drink, I'll get drunk easily, even if I just have two glasses of it. Hailey stops for a moment, and her face suddenly makes a weird gesture that made Eden more suspicious about the whole situation last night.
There is something fishy about Damien's party last night. Because Damien is a human, he can't sense any supernatural creature if it attended his party last night. This matter has become more serious due to the drunken state that the she-wolf had, whether they consumed much or little alcohol. Never in the history of werewolves have they easily gotten drunk, even though they consumed lots of alcohol. They are the most tolerant species toward alcohol. They can drink as much as they want without even worrying about getting drunk because they'll never get drunk!
If the symptom only occurs in the she-wolf but not the male, that means whoever the attacker is, they were only targeting the she-wolf because they also know about the old prophecy about the soul bearer. But the prophecy didn't mention who the sole bearer is or which clan she belongs to. Because the alcohols mix easily with any kind of poison, they purposely target the wolf but not the humans or the witches. Humans can also be the sole bearers, as can witches, because breeding productivity is high with women humans and witches, who are also humans but, because they possess some magic power, they isolate themselves and establish their own culture and rituals that are not very proper for normal humans.
The omega is also very productive in breeding, and they are the most suitable to be the sole bearer. But because Omega is also a member of the werewolf's clan and bound with a bandmate, it feels less accurate if they can be the next soul bearer like the prophecy mentioned. Omegas are very rare now, not like in the past when there were a lot of them in just one pack. The omega woman nowadays can only be counted by numbers, and the number of pups that they produce has also decreased by almost 60 percent since 200 years ago.

The scroll also states about the breeding which is suitable for the soul bearer amongst the living creature that includes the human, witches and other supernatural creatures such as the cold blood clan, the werewolves clan, the demons which includes the holy and unholy spirits like the devils, ghosts, succubus, etc.;
So what Queen Lena said before is true. The scrolls have already been copied since their early days, when the high priest wrote them at the moment of the first full moon celebration. If the scroll had been copied, which one is real and which one is fake? If the scroll with her right now is only the replicate and not the original, that means the entire transcription that she had been working on with Queen Lena is nothing! She doesn't have any evidence about the poison and the alcohol or why it is only targeting the she-wolf and not the others. Are the rouges behind all this, or some other supernatural creature is assisting the rouges to vanish the entire werewolf packs so they can replace the clans with their ruthless and vile attitudes?
If so, the whole DPO will collapse. Even cold blood can't stop these inhumane groups. The rouges love violent, bloody war. They will challenge every clan just to prove that they are the wildest, most savage, and most powerful werewolves. The rouges also kill the first cold bloodline. "Is that some kind of threat, Eden? I knew little about the prophecy when I was still a little kid, but would it be true or was it just a prophecy? I mean, it's not like the whole population of our clans is affected by the alcohol things." Hailey said this with concern on her face. Eden just nods at her sister's thoughts. Although it is not quite harming them now, it is still a big matter and needs a lot of consideration. Because the future of their survival lies with the she-wolf, who will bear their future pups.
"I don't know, Hail. I thought this was only a small matter when you keep getting drunk. But the more I look into it, I don't think it is still the little problem like I think it was before," Eden answered with an unsure voice.
"What do you mean by that?" "Is it going to affect the whole werewolf clan or our pack only?" Eden shakes her head. She still doesn't know about that either. But all she can say is they need to be careful all the time and watch their moves because someone is watching their every single move.
"I hope I'm wrong, but I think these whole drunken things only affect the she-wolf and not the male. I guess they deliberately target the she-wolf because they think the she-wolf is probably the soul bearer." Hailey's face became darker. Her knuckles can be seen when she holds her fist tightly.
"Just calm down, Hail; we are still not sure yet about this whole situation right now. Because humans and the witches can also be the next soul bearer and so do the omegas and of course the she-wolf too"
"Huh! Do you think so? Or the DPO is not doing their job. " Eden let out a small sigh.
"The DPO is only interested in knowing who the next soul bearer is. The drunken problem that she-wolf had has nothing to do with the DPO. If the rouges are involved with these alcohol things... we need to handle it ourselves," said Eden, telling her sister about DPO's stance on the problems involving the werewolves and the rouges.
"What do you mean?" The DPO will only be bystanders?" Hailey responds in a stern voice, expressing her dissatisfaction with Eden's justification.
"There is a certain rule in DPO, and they just can't get involved in any problems that only certain clans have. DPO is for the entire supernatural creature that involved the supernatural world as a whole. And they can only get involved if the whole clan is affected by it, not just a single clan or pack," Hailey scoffs at Eden. Of course, Eden will defend the DPO! She is involved with it even though she claimed she's not.
"So DPO is bullshit!" Why can't they interfere? We are one of the pact fractions under the DPO itself. The pact member must take action if certain enemies threaten them! Not just stand there and wait for the result to come," said Hailey, spitting fire into her words so Eden can stop defending the DPO.
"They will if—only if—the entire supernatural community is disturbed or the third world war is happening. Look, the rouges are still werewolves, and although they are not in packs, they are still related to all of us. So the werewolf's clans need to solve this alone; do you understand that, Hail?" Eden looked at Hailey's reddening face. She then continues to educate her sister about DPO and how it works with the pact between all the clans that are under the organization.
"If the situation involves only the demons without including the unholy spirits, DPO will not interfere, but if the unholy spirits are involved with the demons or any living species, DPO will and needs to interfere in this kind of matter because the unholy spirit is evil and dangerous to the whole world." Hailey just stays silent and holds her head with her left hand as Eden continues. Hailey looks a bit confused but is still sitting patiently on her chair, listening to the explanation from her little sister, Eden.
