Chapter 382 - Disagreement

The female elf looked at the man opposite her with some surprise.

She had no idea that the person who came to save her was actually a human, not a half-elf as she had imagined. In fact, at the most critical moment, she thought that it was her own people who had come to save her, but then she found out that he didn't understand elvish, so she thought that he was a half-elf who had been lost in the human world.

But she never expected that the person opposite her was actually a human.

And it was a young Mage who was so handsome that he could be called handsome even among the elves. His bright golden hair clearly told others that he had a noble and special bloodline.

"You're a human, why did you save me?"

The female elf felt that her naked body was covered by a blood-red cloak, which made her feel a lot more relaxed. After all, no normal woman liked to bare her body in front of strange men.

Beta tore off the golden handcuffs. Gold was not a particularly tough metal, and it might be difficult for elves to break free, but for Beta, a compound profession, it was not a difficult thing. After all, he was already a Master, and his strength had reached more than ten points, so it was a piece of cake for him to deal with a golden handcuff.

He threw the golden handcuffs into his space. They were worth at least twenty gold coins, so it would be a waste not to take them.

"You can go into my space first. There's another elf inside, and I think she will tell you in detail about our purpose. "

"Space?"

There was a hint of worry on the female elf's face. Generally speaking, spatial Mages could indeed form a small dimensional space and store some items, but they could only store some inanimate objects. After all, there was no place to stay in the dimensional space, and there was no light, just endless nothingness and darkness.

Except for Mystra's Mansion, no other small dimensional space could store living things. This was already a well-known fact.

Beta, however, didn't explain so much. He just gently waved his hand and put the female elf into the Mystra's Mansion.

Entering the space with him was the young noble's corpse.

The Elves were very contradictory creatures. On one hand, they were very powerful and proficient in magic. On the other hand, they were very fragile. Once they left the lush vegetation for too long, they would become weak and get sick. If they didn't return to the trees as soon as possible, they might even die.

This made the elves less aggressive. After all, not every place was like the elven forest, full of all kinds of plants and the same climate as a tropical rainforest.

Julie, the female elf rescued by Beta, found herself in a strange space after a brief daze. Her first reaction was that this should be the lost mansion, but then she found that this space seemed to be much larger than the average mansion.

Not only was the room furnished, but it was also divided into two levels.

There were also some potted plants in Mystra's Mansion, and she was delighted to see this and immediately followed.

She had stayed in the desert for too long and had been locked up in the room for too long. If she didn't replenish herself with the scent of the plants, she would soon get the disease unique to the elves.

As she ran two steps, she saw another person sitting under the side table with the potted plants. She took a closer look and found that it was actually her acquaintance. She immediately cried out and threw herself at her.

"Mariana."

Julie threw herself at her and held the sitting female elf in her arms. The latter was dozing off with her eyes closed. She was startled when she was suddenly hugged. She opened her eyes and was about to fight back when she saw a familiar face and immediately cried out in surprise.

"Julie, you've been rescued too?"

The two female elves met and inevitably had a long conversation of joy and tears, but soon Julie had some questions. "Mariana, why are you here?"

Wiping away her tears, Mariana told her what had happened.

"A half-elf decided to rescue all her brethren in Djibouti?" Mariana was so surprised that she couldn't close her mouth after hearing this. "Does she have the strength and financial resources? It'll be good if she doesn't get swallowed again."

Mariana shook her head. "I don't think she'll be afraid. She's very powerful. She's a summoner in our clan, and she's almost at the Master level."

Julie was startled. "Then she shouldn't be risking her life in this place. You know, even in our Elf Forest, there aren't many young summoners."

Looking at the anxious Julie, Mariana sighed slightly. "You mean, we won't let her save other companions, ignore them, and leave just the two of us?"

Julie opened her mouth but couldn't say anything. In the end, she could only sigh. "I'd rather stay here forever. I'd rather that she can't save other people. I don't want the geniuses of our clan to fall in this place."

It was not that Julie was spoiled and put herself and her companions in danger, but that Elven Summoners above the Master level were really rare. Every race had their own special professions. Such professions could not be taken by other races.

For example, the Paladins of the humans, the Blackrock Guards of the dwarves, and the Shaman priests of the beastmen.

Many people always thought that the special profession of the elves was Druid, but this was actually wrong. Druids weren't the specialty of the elves. At least, trolls could become Druids.

It was just that the elves' Druid heritage was more profound.

The real special profession of the elves was the Elven Summoner. When an Elven Summoner grew up, they could even fight against the undead army of necromancers. They were also the only profession that could fight against necromancers.

The growth requirements of an Elven Summoner were very mysterious. They couldn't simply increase their magic power. They had to rely on their own understanding … As a result, there weren't many Summoners above the Master level in the elves, and they weren't young either.

But now, Alice was the only Elf Summoner who was almost at the Master level among the younger generation of the elves. If something happened to her, the elves' generation might be cut off from the current Master level Summoner.

That was why Julie felt that Alice shouldn't appear outside the Elf Forest.

"But I think Alice should give it a try." Mariana's expression was still gloomy, but her eyes were a bit brighter. "Her human friends are also very powerful. I think even if she can't save all of her people, she can at least save a few more."

Julie gritted her teeth. "But what if something happens to her?"

Mariana didn't speak. She just quietly closed her eyes.

Julie was lucky. Although she was a slave, she wasn't persecuted. Mariana, on the other hand, was different. She had experienced the most terrible nightmare in the world and knew that few of her people would have a good ending if they fell into the hands of these humans.

So, in her opinion, Alice could save as many people as she could.

Seeing Mariana's look, Julie was a bit puzzled, but she didn't say anything. She just sat next to Mariana and wrapped her magic cloak around her, feeling the residual warmth from it.

Before Betta left, he quietly walked around the mansion and took away a lot of gold cups and silverware. At the same time, he found a small vault. After careful calculation, he had earned at least 300 gold coins tonight.

As expected of a gold belt for murder and arson …

Beta used Secondary Invisibility and left the mansion. Before returning to the hotel, he quietly went out of the city, took out the young noble's body from his space, and threw it at the foot of the sand dune.

The sand dunes in the desert flowed. Beta believed that it wouldn't take long for the young noble's body to be covered under the yellow sand, never to see the light of day.

When he returned to the hotel, he happened to see three beauties coming back from outside. The four of them sat around the table, and Shirley told them what happened tonight. Then she asked, "Beta, did you find anything on your side?"

"I saved an elf. He's in my space."

"What!"

Alice slapped the table and immediately escaped into the space of Mystra's Mansion.

Beta smiled and told Shirley what happened just now. Then he continued, "According to that man, a certain prince of the royal family has bad intentions for you. I think you should be more careful."

"You killed that man because he had bad intentions for us?"

There was a delighted smile in Shirley's eyes. She seemed very happy.

Emma's eyes were bright too.

Beta, however, sighed. Well, women's focus was always confusing to men. They were talking about serious matters, but why did they suddenly stray to those things?

"Although a few fops are no match for you, it's better to be careful."

The two women didn't seem to hear him at all. They were having fun on their own. Beta shook his head and was about to take a rest. Then, he thought of something and released Alice and the female elf that he had just rescued.

"Thank you for your help, honorable Mage."

Wrapped in Beta's cloak, Julie's body was vaguely visible and quite alluring.

Looking at this, Emma snorted coldly. She was tempted to wrap the cloak around herself.

"But I have something very important to talk to you about, sir." Looking at Shirley and Emma, Julie seemed a little alarmed, but she still said, "I hope that you will stop now and persuade Alice to leave this place too."

Everybody was shocked at those words. Only Alice was silent.

Actually, after coming out of the space of Mystra's Mansion, Alice's expression was a little ugly.

Beta stared at Julie for a moment and asked, "Why?"

"Alice is a genius of my race. Nothing can happen to her in a place like this."

"A genius? Alice?"

Beta was a little stunned. Then he thought about it and realized that it made sense. Although Alice was more than a hundred years old, she was still an underage girl among the elves. Also, after she was conferred the title of Knight, her strength soared. She did deserve the title of genius.

But what Julie said next really stunned Beta.

"As the rarest high-level elf summoner in the clan, Alice can't take risks in this hell city, at least not until she really grows up."
