"Can you tell me about this world, Zelretch?"
I say while looking around and getting used to the Mana of this world. The mana in this place is thicker than back home. DxD might still be in the Age of Gods, but there are millions of mages back home that are absorbing the mana in the air. That means the mana will be thinner and less than here, where only a handful of mages exist.
"Just like in the game, Uruk will be the last city that is still standing."
"That means there are still cities that are still standing, huh?"
"Yup. Not for long, however. They will fall and leave Uruk as the last frontier of humanity."
"Do you want me to help them?."
"No. Getting people to Uruk will be enough. Killing the Demonic Beasts will help, as well."
"That is good. What about Gilgamesh? Will he send someone to kill me?"
"Nope! You are good. As long as you don't enter Uruk, he will not do anything to you. His eyes cannot see you because of the power of your patron and Great Red. However, it will break if you enter Uruk because it is his domain. Even then, if he sees you directly using his special eyes, he will see Great Red in all of his glory, and it is something that I want to see. If he thinks that you need to be dead and decides to kill you, I will intervene."
"That is a relief."
I look at the distance and say.
"So, which direction is Uruk? I don't want to go there accidentally."
"South of here. Just make sure you don't step inside the massive wall. We are in the Black Cedar Forest near the hill where Fujimaru meets the False Enkidu, Kingu."
"Right. And which direction is the place I need to go to help?"
He snaps his finger, and a small device drops from a small portal.
"Here. This compass will show you where a huge concentration of mana is located. As you can see, each needle in the device points at a high concentration of mana. The more it moves, the more chaotic the mana. That means there is conflict there."
"Don't worry. Just follow the compass, and you will be good. I already tested this in the other timelines."
"That is good to know."
"And here."
Another portal appears, and it spits another book. I take the book and open it.
"This is the map and location of all the ingredients you need. Be careful. There are a lot of demonic beasts in this place. They are not that strong, but they have numbers."
"I see. What about the people of Chaldea?"
"They will arrive in three days. You have a month before the situation gets worse."
"I see. I understand."
"Good. If there is nothing else, I need to return. I need to beat Great Red in a Pokemon Tournament."
I shake my head with a smile and watch him leave this world through a portal. After the portal closes, I look around and say.
"So… Which direction should I take first?"

|3rd POV|
A scream of terror and fear comes from the edge of the forest. Thirty people are running for their lives as seventy demonic beasts are running toward them. They are the refuge from the other city who want to reach Uruk, the only place that can fight all the demonic beasts on equal ground.
However, just like many people who want to enter Uruk, they need to make a long journey while demonic beasts roam the land.
They had already fought two waves of demonic beasts on this journey. The men are injured, and they are running out of medicine to treat the wound. Their only choice left is to run. They continue to run until they meet another group of demonic beasts who wait for them on the other side of the road.
With them being surrounded, they can only fight. The injured men take arms and create a battle formation to protect their women and children. However, as the demonic beast gets closer, a concrete beam of wind punches through the demonic beast.
The villagers look at the sight in shock and look around for the origin of the wind. They look around for a few seconds before one of them points to the sky.
"Look!"
They look to the sky and see a person floating in the air. They see the person slowly descend to the ground. This person is Ryan.
When he lands on the ground, the demonic beasts charge at him. However, Ryan is ready and releases a sharp wind to cut them. He then punches the nearby beast before opening his mouth to blast the last beast into pieces.
He then dashes to the next target and thrusts his sharp claw at it, piercing through its brain. Ryan looks at the charging demonic beasts, takes out his sword, and takes a deep breath. Fire comes out of his mouth and dashes forward.
Hinokami Kagura: Sun Halo Dragon Head Dance
Ryan runs toward the enemies and keeps swinging his sword, creating an image of an eastern dragon behind. It is an image that people of Mesopotamia know and are familiar with because it is the image of Ningishzida, the Serpent-Dragon God of Life and Protection.
After Ryan is done killing all the demonic beasts, he casts a translation spell and turns around. However, when he turns around, he sees them kneeling down in front of him, praying and thanking him for rescuing them.
He can only sigh because he knows the reason why they are kneeling. His appearance is different after entering Dragon Sage Mode. The natural energy in this world is more primal, and because of that, his draconic characteristics are more apparent than in his back home.
It brings out more of his wild form. Luckily, Akatosh and Grandeeney are inside of him, or he will lose control over his new instinct and go on a rampage. However, with them inside of his soul, he can reign over his instinct and get used to it.
Ryan looks at the people in front of him and says.
"Please get up. Let's get out of here. I shall accompany you to Uruk and protect you."
He sighs once again when he sees them thanking and praying to him.
'This will be a long journey.'
