Chapter 135 - Chapter 135

"Ryan! We need to defeat her quickly! Go and kill her. We will hold the ground here."

I nod, take a deep breath, and start to run toward the woman sitting on the throne. I dodge all the incoming undead and even use one of them as a step for me to jump toward the Wolf Queen.

"Fool!"

She screams and raises her hand. I widen my eyes when I see a massive skeleton's hands coming out of the portal and punching me. I managed to block the attack, but it was strong enough to throw me to the wall and create a crater from the impact.

I shake my head and dash once again.

"Useless!"

I can see the skeleton ready to punch me once again, but before it can do anything, I take a deep breath and shout.

"Fus Ro Dah!"

An invisible force comes out of my mouth and forces the people before me to fall to the ground. Some of them become a meat pancake, while others manage to survive because of magic that protects them. Sadly, my attack did not defeat the Wolf Queen, as she is a spirit.

I can hear her laughing at me.

"Fools! I am a spirit, boy! Your attack will not work on me."

She starts to piss me off. I think for a second before something clicks in my head. She is nothing but a soul, and I have something that will kill her for good. It cost me a lot to shout this, but I can do it after getting a boost from eating two dragons.

Potema looks at me and says,

"Attack that man! Kill him! I want his soul! I want to devour the soul of a dragon!"

For now, I need to take care of the other necromancers. I take a deep breath and further enchant my body with chakras. I dash forward and arrive in front of one of them in the blink of an eye. I swing my sword and release a flash of lightning.

Thunder Breathing Technique First Form: Thunderclap and Flash

The necromancer manages to create a barrier, but my attack easily destroys his barrier, but it is enough to let him move slightly. My sword cut through his right arm instead of his neck. However, before he can run away, I move once again and thrust my sword at him. A second later, a massive lightning bolt came out of my sword.

Thunder Breathing Sixth Form: Rumble and Flash

The lightning bolt hits the necromancer, and I immediately jump away when I feel five attacks fly at me. I can see five fire bolts hit the ground as I land on the other side. I take a deep breath and generate five balls of lightning. A second later, all the balls explode and generate an explosion that hits all of my enemies except Potema, who manages to create a shield strong enough to block my attack.

When I land on the ground, I dash forward with my hand in hand. I can see her raise her hand and release a barrage of ice Spikes coming toward me. I dodge the incoming attack and even slice some of them while continuing to run toward Potema. When she creates a barrier around her, I know this is my chance.

Instead of attacking her, I use a lot of my soul energy as I take a deep breath and shout.

"Rii Vaaz Zol (Essence Tear Zombie)!"

As I shout, purple energy rushes toward Potema, and when it hits her, she starts to scream.

"ARGH! WHAT HAPPENS TO ME?!"

I can see her spirit body start to break slowly, and by the sound of her scream, it is very painful. The name of the shout is Soul Tear, and the description of the shout is a Thu'um that cuts through flesh and shatters souls. I never thought that it was meant literally.

After a few seconds of screaming, Potema's spirit body shatters completely and disappears into nothingness. I look down and see the undead and spirits she summoned to kill my companions fall to the ground and turn into dust.

I jump down and walk toward Ivedir, then say.

"How are you, my friend?"

"We are in bad shape, but we will manage. Sadly, we lost four of our brothers and sisters."

"I see. Let's return to Solitude and give them a proper burial."

I nod and walk back to the remains of Potema before taking the ring to the ground. It has the symbol of a dragon, the symbol of a Septim Dynasty. This should be enough as proof, right? I shake my head and help Ivedir carry the dead bodies out of the cave.

After a few minutes of carrying our comrade out of the cave, I look behind and take a deep breath.

"Yol Toor Shul!"

A massive torrent of fire comes out of my mouth and burns anything inside the cave, cleansing it from anything found inside the cave. I create a magic circle and cover the cave with boulders so no one can use it.

I nod, and we depart to Solitude.

I release a sigh and look at the ceiling above me. Jarl Elisif decided to give me the title of a Thane and even give me a manor called Hearthstone Manor, a manor not too far away from the market. It has its own garden, and the Jarl will send all I need for the manor tomorrow, including the Housecarl for this manor.

Luckily, the bedroom is already fully furnished, and I can use it to sleep at night. I shake my head and close my eyes. Tomorrow, I will ask about the location of all Dragon Lair and Dragon Mound from the Jarl.

Even if they did not know the first one, they must know the second one as their ancestor made the Dragon Mound. If I get two or three locations where I can find a dragon, it will pay for all the trouble I have gone through to get a favor from the Jarl.

As I close my eyes, I blink for a second because I arrive at another place. Instead of a peak of a mountain, I am now standing in between two biomes. To my left is an unending tundra with a beautiful aurora dancing above it, and to my right is a beautiful sea with a sea of stars above the sea.

I look around for a few seconds, and as I am about to explore this place, I can see two beings appear in the sky in each realm.

"Welcome, Dragonborn, to our realms!"

The two beings speak at once.

I look to the left and see an old man with long white hair and a silver beard to my left. He is wearing typical Nordic leather armor, a hood covering his head, and a spear in his right hand. However, what caught my attention was that he was wearing an eyepatch on his right eye, and I could see stars dancing inside his left eye.

"My name is Orkey! God of Mortality and Eternal Slumber!"

He introduced himself. I give him a respectful nod and look to the right.

"And I, Arkay, God of the Cycle of Birth and Death"

I can see a middle-aged man wearing a purple toga with a golden laurel crown on his head. He holds a wooden staff in his right hand and an eagle perching on his left. He also releases a colorful aura that dances around him.

I give them a bow and say.

"What can I do for the two of you?"

The two of them look at each other for a moment before their eyes land on me.

"With the permission from Akatosh–"

"–We require your help, Dragonborn."
