The Dragonborn slowly lands on the ground, and I cannot help but say.
"Why a bucket?"
The Nord man looks at me and laughs. After a few seconds of laughing, he looks at me and says.
"I once dreamed about a half dragon and half man showing a vision about me flying using a bucket to reach the College of Winterhold from the very bottom of the cliff."
I stay silent for a second and say.
"Are you naked in that vision?"
"Yes! How did you know? I only have a piece of clothes that covers my dick and butthole."
"And you are about to try to be the Archmage of College of Winterhold."
"Yes! Once again, how do you know that?"
I release a sigh, and I swear I can hear Akatosh laughing in the deepest part of my mind. He is the culprit in this madness. What he is dreaming of is my playthrough of Skyrim from my past life. It was when I tried to become an Archmage of the College of Winterhold without using a single magic. I followed a tutorial from a famous YouTuber who is known for doing this kind of challenge.
It was a weird but very enjoyable playthrough.
"Let's just say that I also have that kind of dream."
"Oh! Are you a Dragonborn as well? I heard from the guard that you managed to absorb the soul of a dragon, and I heard someone use a Thu'um on the way here."
I nod and say.
"That's me. The people call me Dragonborn and ask me to shout."
"Ah, yeah. That happened to me as well. I test it on one of the guards of Whiterun." He chuckled a little and continued, "I did not know how powerful my shout would be, so I sent the poor man flying to the sky. If not for Irileth, the housecarl of Jarl Balgruuf, that man would be dead. Lucky for him, he only has a few broken bones. He should be good by now. I need to visit him when I visit Whiterun."
"Lucky for me, I shout at the forest just outside Dawnstar."
"Ah! You are the one making that hole on the mountain, huh?"
I nod and say.
"Yes."
"Huh? That is impressive. I think I can only shout like that after learning from the Greybeard for three days."
And the Greybeard learned that thing for years or maybe for a century. We are both monsters compared to the others.
"Anyway, the name is Ryan. Ryan Hernandes."
"Weird name, but who am I to judge? The name is Nord Nordinson."
I look at him weirdly, searching for any sign of him being joking.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes. Blame my father. He wants me to be the pinnacle of the Nord people, hence the name. That is why I cannot judge you for a weird name."
Yikes. I imagine the bullying he went through.
"Anyway! You can call me Odin. That is the name I give to anyone."
I look at him for a second and nod my head. That name checks out. He wears an eyepatch. I can see a twin ax on his hip. He is a giant of a man, more than two meters tall, with a body full of muscle and a majestic braid beard.
"Nice to meet you, Odin. You can call me Ryan."
He laughs and puts his arms around my shoulder while saying.
"It is nice to meet another Dragonborn! There are many things I need to do because of this title, and it is nice that someone can help me help the people of Skyrim."
And he already pushes some of his responsibility to me, huh? Well, I don't mind. I am good as long as it does not involve any Daedric Prince.
"Speaking of helping, can I ask why you came here?"
"Hmmm? Ah, I come here from Winterhold on behalf of Jarl Korir of Winterhold."
"Ah, I see. Then don't make me hold you down. I shall go to the gate and watch the others caring for the Dragon's bones for me."
"Of course! I shall see you there after my business with the Jarl is done."
I nod and watch him enter the White Hall before walking to the city gate. As I get near the gate, I can see the others already tearing apart the dragon's bones, and Carcette walks toward me.
"Welcome back, Ryan. How is your talk with the Jarl?"
"It went well, and the Jarl was kind enough to give me the title of a Thane."
"Oh! You are now a Thane of the Pale, huh? Congratulations! We should celebrate this good news! Let's celebrate in the inn! They serve the Honningbrew Mead there and not Black Briar Mead."
"Sure! However, we must wait for the Dragonborn before celebrating this."
"Huh? Dragonborn? Oh! You mean the other one! Is he here?"
"Yeah. He is currently having some talks with the Jarl. It is a business between the Pale and Winterhold territories. I don't want to disturb them."
"That is fair. Anyway! The blacksmith wants to ask you if he can take some of the dragon bones. Come on."
Carcette and I get closer to the bones, and a middle-aged man walks toward me as we get closer.
"Ah! You must be the Dragonborn, right?"
"Lord Dragonborn," Carcette interrupts him. "He received the title of Thane."
"I see! I am sorry, my lord. I did not know about your new title."
I smile at him and say.
"I hear that you want some of the bones?"
"Yes, my lord. My name is Rustleif, and I am the local blacksmith. I want to try and make an armor out of them. Can you spare some for me?"
"Sure. However, I need you to do something for me."
"Anything."
"If you manage to create an armor using the bones, I want you to make some for me. Don't worry about the price. I will pay for it."
He looked at me in surprise before raising his body in pride. I blink at that in surprise. Why does he look proud?
"It is an honor to create armor for a Dragonborn! To entrust me with this task… I shall give it my all! I shall put my honor as a blacksmith in this task!"
"Just make sure not to overdo it, okay? Think of your health as well."
"Bwahahaha! Don't worry about me, my lord! I am still in my Golden Age, after all!"
We have different meanings for a Golden Age, huh? I nod, take a good chunk of the bones, and give them to Rustleif before storing the rest of them inside my Requip magic. They look at me in surprise, Carcette says.
"What was that!?"
I look at her and say.
"This is an ability I have had since birth. My mother says that it was a gift from Zenithar himself."
Carcette nods her head slowly and says.
"That makes sense. So, not only are you the Champion of Kynareth, Servant of Stendarr, Child of Akatosh, and now Blessed by Zenithar. You are truly a special individual, my friend."
I can only smile and perk up when I feel someone powerful approaching us.
"Ryan! I am back!"
"Ah, Odin! Good! You are here. Do you want to join us at the celebration? We want to have a party in the Windpeak Inn for my new title."
"Of course! Let's go, my friend! Let's go and have a party!"
