"An army of 29 infected just collapsed to their death outside the Murasaki manner. They entered as reported 3 days ago and came out 10 minutes ago coughing and screaming." The male reporting is a look out for one of the largest camps, housing 200 people in a mall and mansion nextdoor to the mall.
The Moon Camp.
"Murasaki ... Do you copy?" A second group speaks on the radio.
A pattern of static noise alerts everyone nearby that they moved, it will last until their generator runs out.
"They will alert us when they settle into their new place. For now, let's be grateful they were standing between us and them. Black Speaking" A member of Camp Black says and turns off the radio.
He is also the leader of Camp Black, his name is Coalman.
"Gather a group to go salvage what the Murasaki's left behind. Hurry up!" Coalman yells at his 3 men he always sends out.
Their names are Trent, Gus, and Billy.
The three men suit up and hurry up outside.
Trent is in the front clearing the way of rodents with an air purifier gas gun.
Gus carries liquid purifier bullets on him and a loaded gun.
Billy is in the middle using his super vision to set the speed of the endeavour.
"Run now for the mansion, don't look back, the rodents ran away from that area, moving to that house sounds like a good idea even." Gus suggests they desert Camp Black.
"If they have anything worthwhile we'll stay there and never go back to Black." Billie says sprinting first.
They run to the mansion and find not a single trace of rodent or an infected. They find the large crate of supplies still full.
"Look! They left behind nanite batteries. Quickly get the shields up with the most powerful one we have." Gus says.
Trent smiles as he is the only one that knows how to use it. He installs the blue nanite battery and a blue shield surrounds the entire mansion.
They use the second nanite battery to power the mansion.
Gus who was in charge of the wall taps the computer until the large wall is put up to keep the shield absorber out.
Gus dances in the room, "We have enough supplies to last us a year, we each get our own room. Keep our own rashons to ourselves and live life." He claps his hands dancing in victory.
Coalman sighs in relief when the repeating signal at Murasaki stops.
Moon camp lookout reports the signal stopped.
"We found a crate of food. Nano batteries, and a clean house. We've decided to make this place our own. We'll be eating like kings for a year." Gus says in the background stil dancing.
"Moon camp speaking, how many nano batteries did you find?"
"2, no red one." Trent reports.
"Any idea where Murasaki went? Moon speaking."
"Neh, but if they call home we'll let them know you want to know where they are. Chow Mi amigo." Trent says and turns off the comms
