"A gift?" Siegfried stared at the box.
"I have been told that your fighting style disagrees with wands. That is why you were looking forward to my reward during the forest exercise. Is that correct?"
Arabella opened the box to reveal a gold ring with a red stone
"This one is one of my favorites when it came to design. But I never got to use it, as it was designed for someone with a fire affinity. I think it would be a good fit for you. Until you find yourself a good magical weapon."
"Is this what they call, preferential treatment?"
Arabella chuckled. "Kind of." She did not deny it.
"This one is not the one I was planning to give as a first-place reward, in case you were wondering."
