"Motherfucker!" A deep male voice whispered shouted, startling me awake.
I screamed jumping out of my bed not knowing if this was a nightmare or real life.
"Shut the fuck up!" Eros scolded me in a low scary voice. He was sitting at my desk chair rubbing his shin.
"What are you doing?" I whispered to him this time. Although, I'm sure screaming woke my parents already.
Suddenly a loud knock came at my door from my step dad. "Ella! Are you ok?"
"Sorry, Daddy. Just a spider. I got it!"
"Ok, princess. I have to be up in a few hours, try to be quiet."
"Of course, Daddy. Good night."
I let out a sigh. My heart was racing between Eros scaring me, to the possibility of my dad walking in my room and a boy was in here.
"Daddy? Princess? No wonder you act like you're twelve." Eros chuckled watching me a little too closely.
"Stop being mean to me." I pouted. Eros always made me feel like a small child.
He just shook his head then turned on the lamp on my desk.
"Oh god, what are you wearing?" His eyes looked annoyed over my clothes.
"What? These pants are so comfortable. Feel how soft?" I held my pink sweat pants out from my leg for him to feel.
"No! Go sit down." He ordered waving his hand for me to get away from him.
"This was my father's t-shirt, by the way. He loved Metallica." I looked down at the old worn out black t-shirt. I would never get rid of this.
"I don't care, Ella." Eros had that look he normally gave me. The one that I was an annoying pest that never left him alone. It was a little unfair considering I rarely talked to him.
Sure, I stalked him every day at school, but it wasn't because of the major crush I had on him, it was because he would protect me if those boys tried touching my body again. I shivered at the thought.
"What is going on in that head?" Now he was looking at me like I was an alien.
"Nothing." Definitely wasn't voicing my thoughts to him.
"What is this bag Jose wants?"
"I don't know?"
"What did Jose say?"
"I had to deliver him his bag by midnight or he would fu... hurt every inch of my body?"
"Can you not say fuck, Ella?"
"I can, but I chose not to." I huffed holding my head high. I wasn't some truck driver needing to curse every other sentence to seem tough or something.
"Whatever! Did he say what the bag looked like, what was inside the bag, when Damien took it? Anything that could be useful?" There was that annoyed look again. I wish for once he would look at me like a real person his own age.
"I don't think so. I was really scared, Eros. I don't remember." I sat Indian style on my bed picking at my nails. One would think having the hottest boy from high school, that you also had a major crush on, would make you nervous. Nope not me. I knew exactly where I stood with Eros.
"Don't fucking cry!" He scolded me, making me jump. A tear slid out my eye and I quickly wiped it away.
"You don't have to yell at me."
"You don't have to cry every time you feel a little upset. You're not fucking twelve."
"I know I'm not twelve! You don't have to keep treating me like a twelve-year-old either, Eros. I didn't ask for your help. You just showed up here."
He smiled slightly at my little outburst. Does he like it when he makes me upset? How cruel can a person be to smile at someone's pain?
"Should I leave then?" He got up from the chair and crawled on my bed.
"Uh, no. What are you doing?"
"I'm tired Ella and you are no fucking help."
"Thanks! You're not exactly doing anything either to help the situation... by the way." I folded my arms leaning my back to the headboard. I never had anyone in my bed before. I knew he didn't want anything from me in that way but it was still awkward.
"You're right. I should just leave you to figure this out on your own."
My head shot to him and he smiled at me. Was he messing with me? He can't just leave me to do this on my own. I don't know anything about these gangs or bags.
Then he sat up and I quickly grabbed his arm.
"No! Eros please. I don't know what to do. I don't even know where to look. Those gang bangers will kill me then my parents."
"Better. Now be good and stop mouthing off to me when I'm trying to help." He smiled wide then laid back down.
I scrunched my eyebrows confused about what was happening. I think he was definitely messing with me. I guess I just have to let him have his way though.
"Eros?" He looked like he was sleeping.
"Eros?" I shook his arm a little. He hummed back to me then moved his hand to my thigh. Oh no! This was not happening. I jumped off the bed and got a pillow and blanket from my closet. I guess I'll sleep on the floor.

I could feel my lips curving in a big smile as the sun growing through my window slowly woke me. I stretched my arms yawning soaking in the good night rest I had.
"What are you doing?" Eros's voice made me jump up.
"Why are you here?" I looked around confused.
Right! He climbed in my window to make fun of me then took my bed to sleep in.
"I'm here to help you. Why are you sleeping on the floor?"
"You wouldn't wake up?"
"Have you never slept with a boy in your bed, little Ella?"
"Of course not! Do I look married to you?" I shook my head at the rude man still in my bed. His dark blonde hair was short on top but had enough to look messy from sleep. His green eyes we lighter than normal and that stupid grin practically lived on his face when I was around.
"Married! Oh God, I didn't think your model still existed." He chuckled sitting up.
"That's not funny, Eros. There's nothing wrong with respecting myself."
"Sure, Ella! Let's go get some food and we can start figuring out this bag shit. I have off today but need to work both jobs tomorrow."
I looked at him confused. "Why are you helping me?"
"Because Ella you will die if I don't. As annoying as you are I can't just watch some gang bangers, well, gang bang you." He chuckled to himself.
What did he mean gang bang me? I didn't know how but I knew he was making fun of me.
"I'll get dressed." I gathered my blanket folding it then picked up my pillow. Eros was behind me and took the blanket to put it on top of my closet. "Thank you!" I said low then turned to my clothes.
What to wear when spending the day with Eros? God, this should make me excited, giddy, happy. Nope, I felt none of that because I knew he wouldn't be nice to me for more than a few minutes.
"This one." He held out a yellow sun dress.
"It's too cold for that plus I only wear dresses when we have family dinners out." I grabbed a pair of leggings and looked through my sweaters.
"Nope not that one." Eros took my black fluffy sweater with little hearts on the breast and hung it back up.
"But it's soft and comfortable." I loved that sweater.
"It's fluffy and twice your size."
"I know. I can ball my whole body in it." I smiled at him but he looked at me like I was an alien again.
"This one." He grabbed a beige sweater with a low-cut scoop neck. "You need new clothes Ella. Everything is too big for you or just ugly."
"I don't need new clothes. These are just fine." I grabbed my brown tank top to put under my sweater.
"You're hopeless. I'll meet you downstairs." He shook his head at me and walked out.
It was getting hard to breathe in here. Even though he made fun of me, having Eros so close was making my body heat up and not in a good way. I was definitely attracted to him, but I didn't want to do something stupid and he just laugh at me.
I got dressed then braided my long hair in a fish tail. I rarely wore makeup and owned very little, but I splashed some mascara and eye shadow on today. I know it's because Eros constantly said I looked twelve and I shouldn't let him get to me, but I couldn't help it. I hated how he looked at me like an annoying little kid.
The second I got to the bottom of the steps I heard his voice. Shit! He walked out my door not my window. What were my parents going to say?
"Finally, you look half way decent." Eros smirked at me and I instantly wanted to take off the makeup. Why was he always so mean to me?
"Well, you know I live for your approval, Eros!" I clenched my jaw and moved towards my dad. "Good morning, Daddy."
"Good morning, princess. Want to tell me why you had a boy in your room?" He didn't look mad. I think he was teasing me.
"Eros... he, well he isn't really a boy." That wasn't what I wanted to say.
"Not really a boy?" Eros looked at me amused as my cheeks blushed.
"Shut up." I pouted turning to make coffee.
This was going to be pure torture.
