Chapter 27 - Ch - 25 Back To Bharat.

India, Hastinapur -

Morning ~

Raghav was near the river Ganga to clean himself. The warm yet cold water of the divine river was so refreshing that all the stress just waves away from you.

Although Raghav was not stressed, he was in deep thought. He was still thinking about the fight he had with demons. It was easy to guess but without the sword, he could barely win.

If he used his divinities and other divine weapons, he could've easily killed the D

demons but he didn't because he wanted to check his physical strength.

His physical strength was way above that of any human in 'this era' but that's the thing. He was stronger than humans but not everyone.

The fight made him realize that though he is strong in general and has many special cards such as his divine weapons and divinities, he was nothing compared to the old gods and demons who have trained and perfected their powers for hundreds of years.

He first has to gain proper control over his divinities so he doesn't have to worry about getting killed at the very least. For his physical strength, he needs someone who can train him.

Now you may think, "Lord Parshuram thought him, no?"

Well of course he did but what he mostly learned from his teacher was the 'Art of War'. He also trained to increase his physical limits which reached the peak when he was a human. He also knows all the fighting techniques that will help him in CQC or any other combat.

What he needs at the moment is not exactly a teacher as his teacher taught him enough. He needs someone who he can have a spar without any problems.

Someone so strong that lifting a mountain can travel at the speed of 11 km/s ( 39600 km/h ) without breaking a sweat. Someone who can be so strong that no one can defeat them in CQC or any form of fighting.

Raghav - "Hmm I guess I know what to do."

As he was thinking, a lady appeared not too far away from him. She looked at him with very curious eyes as he was covered with the stench of demons and hell that any animal can smell from a certain distance.

When Raghav saw this lady, he immediately folded his hands to show respect to the elder lady who he recognized.

Ganga - "Child, why do you smell like that?"

Raghav - "Goddess Ganga, I killed a few monsters not too long ago and thus I smell like this."

Ganga - "Oh I see. Son, you look worried. If you have anything to say, you can tell me. Think of me as your mother."

The goddess just smiled as she said these words. The goddess was known for her motherly nature not only for her actual children but for everyone.

Raghav - "I am just tired and will be fine after a few minutes of rest."

Ganga - "Oh child, please take care of yourself. Your mother would be worried if you get injured."

Raghav - "My mother... honestly, I don't even know if she knows I am injured."

Ganga - "Don't worry child, as long as she is in this universe, she'll know if you're in danger. Call it a mother's hunch."

Raghav - "Well...what if she is not in this universe?"

When the goddess heard his words, her heart got heavy. She thought that Raghav's mother was dead.

Ganga - "I am so sorry child, I didn't know your mother-"

Raghav - "My mother is still alive and so is my father and I am very happy about that. You have misunderstood my words, Goddess."

Raghav didn't want any sort of misunderstanding and so he immediately corrected the goddess.

Ganga - "Ah my bad! But you look like you haven't met her for a long time."

Raghav's eyes widened in shock. He was sure that his mind is not being controlled or anything, yet the mother Goddess knew about him not meeting his mother for a long time.

Raghav - "How do you know?"

Ganga - "I am a mother myself, I know the look of a child who hasn't met their mother for a long time."

Raghav - "Well what can I even say? I want to meet my mother too but there are certain things I must do before that. Only after that can I meet my mother."

Raghav too wanted to go back to his original world but when he asked the system, it told him that it was best to go there after Mahabharat. Because if he travels there without a mission, the rewards will be lessened. Also, the fact that the time there is stopped so he'll return to the exact moment he traveled here.

Ganga - "Child, think of me as your mother. I don't know the reason for you not meeting your parents but I promise that if you ask for help, this mother won't let you down."

{ A/n - Oi you, if any of you say anything that involves 'incest', I swear I will curse you will every good deed I have done.}

[ Effect(s) - You will be as pure as the holy river Ganga.

–You will give a comforting aura and no Passive or Neutral creature will harm you.]

Raghav - "Ok then, I'll call you mother."

Raghav respectfully bowed and touched the feet of the goddess to gain her good wishes.

Now you may think, why did he agree to be her son? Well, there are two reasons.

First is that being the Son of a goddess, the Goddess Ganga would make him almost immune to any conspiracies Gods create against him. Not that they have a reason for that but better be safe than sorry.

Second is that he misses his mother very much and he knew the character of the goddess in front of him. Ganga is like a mother to many creatures as she is the reason for the existence of many. What's more, is that she genuinely cares about Raghav as she saw him being sad for not meeting his parents in a long while.

Ganga - "Good my son. I want to talk more but I also have my fair share of responsibilities. If you want to talk to me, just come to the shore of the river and call me. I will be there."

Saying so, she disappeared from her place.

Raghav - 'It's time to meet some of my friends. System, how long will it take for the Pandavas to come back.'

[ Approximately 5 days. ]

Raghav - 'Hm...I have quite a bit of time till then. I should visit Karna and check how things are going with him.'

Raghav then got out of the river and unleashed his majestic wings. He flew in the air, in the direction of the Kingdom of Anga.

While in the air, he was searching for a good bow. The reason for that was that he was extremely talented in Archery and his Snake bow cannot withstand his power. He needs a bow that can withstand his power but there are so many options to choose from.

Also, he decided that he would not use 'God's Excalibur' unless needed. The reason for this is that it would be boring for him and he'll not get much fighting experience he needed. It was also because he preferred bows instead of a sword.

Raghav - 'I guess I'll just see that later. I have many things to do for now.'

Saying so he flew at a fast pace and reached Anga in no time. The kingdom was very beautiful and was a very developed nation. Before, the kingdom was very poor as it was at the border but now it was full of money and such.

He landed on the ground far away from people and retracted his wings. He then went to a local market.

Anga was a supporting kingdom of Hastinapur and was more or less a part of it. It's a bordering kingdom called Magadha which was not at peace and constantly sent threats of invasion. The reason for the threats was that the current King was a son of a chariator and the king of Magadha didn't like that a lowborn became a king.

But later, Karna solely defeated the entire army of Magadha single-handedly and freed 100 kings captured by Jarasandha to offer as a sacrifice for certain rituals. He acquired the whole Magadha and is currently ruling over both Magadha and Anga. The kingdom of Hastinapur declared Anga as an independent nation and now it could be considered as a powerhouse.

That's all the info Raghav managed in the town market. He also heard a rumor that the son of the previous king of Magadha is currently working as the prime minister.

After a few minutes, he reached the castle. It was not as glorious as the castle of Hastinapur but was enough to look like a castle.

He went to the main gate where he saw a few soldiers guarding the gates. He quickly went to them and asked to meet Karna. At first, they were hesitant but after he told them his name they quickly took him inside. After all, their king had already informed them about him and told them that he is as important as the king.

After a few more minutes of walking, he entered a chamber that was made to welcome guests. The chamber was quite big with several things inside such as a huge comfy bed, a giant bronze mirror, and many more.

He sat there for a while and soon enough, a man with majestic attire came inside the room. He was none other than Karna.

Karna - "Raghav! It's been quite a while. Where were you these past few months?"

Karna asked him with enthusiasm. After becoming a king, he had a lot of problems but the biggest one of them was that he didn't have a friend he could talk to normally. All the people will put honorifics and such but Karna was not used to all this.

Raghav - "Indeed, it has been quite a while. I was hunting a few demons who needed smack and that took quite a long time."

Raghav (co) - "But brother, tell me is everything fine here? I just left for a few months and you conquered a new kingdom and became a powerhouse."

Karna laughed at his comments then he gave the classic 'I know I am the best' smile. Karna wasn't acting arrogant but it was the brotherly instinct to prove yourself best to your younger sibling.

Karna - "Ok, now I am pretty sure you haven't eaten anything, come to the dinner as there will be a feast tonight. I have many things to do because I am a king now."

Karna said as he walked out of the chamber.

At night, they enjoyed a feast and after that, Raghav went to sleep.

He spent the next few days there as he enjoyed his time in the castle. He meditated, ate food, took a bath, and explored the Kingdom.

Soon enough, the day he was waiting for arrived.

Next up - Who will be the crown prince?
