Matthew was smart a guy so he easily catch on with what Jason was saying. He balled his fists tightly till his knuckles turned white. He couldn't believe he had let his anger take the best of him and let him fall into her trap. How could he be so foolish to..... to .... Matthew was so angry that he banged his hand on the car door.
Jason glanced at him as he said. "There is no need to cry over spilt milk. Let's just focus on what his reaction would be." He relax his head on the headrest with his eyes closed. If he said he wasn't upset then he was lying. His blood was boiling with anger but he was trying his best to control it.

"Young miss, I have completed the task." The butler said to Ava who was lying on a sofa in the movie room. She was watching her favourite drama while munching on some snacks. When she heard the butler's words, she raised an eyebrow. " Hm?" Then she stretched her empty glass for him to refill.
"They transfered the full amount." He gave the ipad to Ava. "But miss i don't understand why you let them go so easily." The butler said as he poured more juice for Ava.
Ava smirked. "Oh Charlie, I didn't let them go." She said.
"So you made them think it's over." Ava nodded still focus on the drama she was watching. "But miss I don't think they are that stupid." The butler said. Ava finally turned to look at the butler. "Why." She said. And the butler understood that she meant to say 'Why did you say so'.
"I think both men are smart especially the one with glasses. He would have figure out what had happened. " Charlie said and Ava just nod again.
"Charlie charlie , you did a good job." She gave him a thumbs-up. "I had fun." The corner of her lips rised in amusement.
"I was just doing my job miss." Charles gave a respectful bow. He didn't push further when Ava changed the topic. He believe in his boss and Charles was sure that she wasn't ďone dealing with them.
"Shoo!" Ava chased him out of the room. He was disturbing her in her leisure time. Charles bo q ed again before leaving the room. She smiled as she thought about what transpired in the dinning room earlier. Charlie was right, they would still comeback. People like them don't give up so easily. Her posture became languid as some servants came to refill her snacks and drinks. It was good to have smart servants. They always know she wants before she says it.

In another part of California , inside Elder Lee ...
Everything was going smothly in his office. He just came back from a business trip. He was very busy and worked hard than most old people. Though he has ten secretaries courtesy Ava, he still has so many paperwork. As there is a limit to what his secretaries can handle. There were still few important documents for him to sign. So he was in a hurry so he can go and meet his darling granddaughter. As she had no idea he was back or maybe she knows but to lazy to visit.
He was in the middle of a call when his fifth secretary rushed in. "Chairman. " He was panting hardly as he entered the office forgetting to knock.
"Aeygo!!"Chairman Lee was startled. "What is wrong with you. Is this how you were trained to behave." He scolded the secretary while patting his chest. " Hurry! get me a glass of water, you fool." The secretary immediately poured water into a glass and gave it to him.
He drunk it before facing the sweating secretary. "Why were you running?" He asked with a frown.
"Young miss caused a commotion a few days ago." The secretary replied his breath was till ragged and heavy.
Old man Lee frowned. "Did you run all the to tell me this." This boy almost killed him for nothing.
Jack shook his head so hard that old man Lee was afraid it will fall of. "No.... i mean yes. Some people from the Kingstons came to speak with the young miss today. But I think it didn't end well , they were humiliated and asked to pay 0ne million for disturbing the young miss." Jack said in one breath before pouring himself sone water.
"What were they expecting, a warm welcome or royal treatment. Fools They are lucky I wasn't there, I would have used stick to beat them. " He huffed. "Weldone Charles. Please continue taking care of her." Charles gave him a bow as a form of affirmation. Chairman Lee nod his head before ending the call. Then he faced Jack who had a disbelieving expression on his face. "Is that all?"
"Is that all..?" Jack repeated his question slowly still not understanding what happened. Chairman Lee smiled inwardly but on the outside he kept a straight face. " Yes Jack. I'm a busy man and you know that. " He said trying not to laugh.
"Sir forgive my boldness but by chance was that old charlie?" Chairman Lee nod in affirmation. " But he asked me to deliver the message to you. Why would he stress me when he was going to tell you himself." He said grumpily as if he was about to cry.
"So that was why you ran all the way here." Jack nods his head like a rattle. And that was the final straw. Chairman Lee burst into a fit of laughter. This young man, John never cease to amaze him. John was about speak when someone walked in.
The room's temperature reduced drastically. They were two men immaculately dressed. One had blonde hair and was putting on a pair of golden glass while the other had blue hair.
I thought you said he isn't in here." The one with blue hair spoke while looking at the other secretary. The secretary had her head bowed apologizing to chairman Lee. "I'm sorry sir." Seth's eyes narrowed as he stared at the secretary's neck. Though he had a playful smile on his lips his eyes were saying a different thing. Jack became alert and stared at them with vigilant eyes incase they made a wrong move. The two men didn't bother with Jack as they took their seat.
Chairman Lee stared at the two men in silence while wondering how his granddaughter had offended someone like them. The one with the glasses broke the silence. "We have a proposal for you." Alvin said while looking at chairman Lee calm expression. It was as if the old man knew who they were.
"Hm?" Chairman Lee hummed. "Jack get these gentlemen some refreshments, will you?" He was still looking at the two men in his front. John knew what his boss was doing so he wanted to protest. "I was task to be by your side so I'm not leaving. They can say-"
"John" Chairman Lee cut him off knowing what he was going to say. "I'm not asking you to leave just get some refreshments." John was stubborn. He isn't going to leave the chairman alone with some unknown men.
"There many secretaries outside I can just ask one of them to get the snacks." He bargained
"And risk me getting posioned. Will you be able to face your mistress' wrath?"
"I don't think they will dare to posion you either. So it's a win-win situation. " He said pointedly leaving no room for arguement. He brought out his phone and sent a message to someone. Then he stood at the back of the Chairman.
