It's leaking out. All of her control over her spells, over her mana, over her witchcraft, it's all spinning out of control and she's completely confused. What is this magic that's never been seen before in her time? Others who know of this spell of mine are more cautious than what I've experienced during my journey to link Amleth with the Elven realm. Mother Holle, on the other hand, has no idea of my Genesis Magic, underestimates it, and now she's paying the price. This is as good a chance as any to save Princess Ayaka, so I hurry over while the Yuki-Ona Queen starts to attack Mother Holle with her umbrella. The tip of her umbrella is made of ice, which is even sharper than a sword.
"This is hard... As expected from a former student of Master Merlin" [Diana].
Difficult, but not impossible. I'm confident that I'll be able to unravel this spell and the witch art that's been placed on Princess Ayaka, only time may not be on my side as Mother Holle is starting to hold her ground more and more.
"Don't you dare!" [Mother Holle]
"Meow!" [Fie]
"Thank you, Fie." [Diana]
That's close. Super duper close. If it weren't for Fie protecting me with his hardened body, I'd definitely get hurt, fatally. Looks like there's no room for talk, though
"Why did you do this? Didn't Master Merlin teach you that this is forbidden?" [Diana]
"Yes, and yet she does it herself!" [Mother Holle]
"Impossible!" [Diana]
"Pftt... Witch hunt. It's just her excuse. Just their excuse to get more power and be the only witch!" [Mother Holle]
There was a period of witch hunt where those with witch knowledge ran rampant, deceiving, kidnapping, killing, torturing others with their soul knowledge. Master Merlin said she had warned them all, but almost none listened. Things get so out of hand that the Church and she herself join in the hunt, killing those witches who enter the realm forbidden by the Goddess. Master Merlin told me, Teacher Tiara and Princess Siti this when we became her disciples as to prevent us from getting astray
"Don't you doubt her story! Goddess Grace. The more I think about it, the more impossible it sounds! She's not Goddess Favourite Daughter, so she shouldn't get such grace, so the only logical thing is that she herself kept her strength and beauty by sacrificing others" [Mother Holle].
"You are wrong! You're definitely wrong! The Goddess herself confirms it!" [Diana]
"And what did you... Your soul... Not as radiant as Goddess Favourite Daughter, but... I will definitely have your soul!" [Mother Holle]
As she became even more enraged, her power increased dramatically. The Yuki-Ona Queen, who tried her best to subdue her, has now lost all advantages, especially as THE THING continues to strengthen Mother Holle.
"Immortality. Beauty. Power. With all this, I can definitely make the world my own! Once I do, THE THING will surely praise me even more and grant me even more!" [Mother Holle]
"THE THING will only make things worse!" [Diana]
"You have no idea!" [Mother Holle]
"I do! Even the Devil King himself does not like THE THING! OBVIOUSLY, THE THING is nothing but evil!" [Diana]
We exchange blows. She's terrified of my attack. I'm sure she's keeping her distance from me because she doesn't want to get hit by Genesis Magic again. Unfortunately, I can't spam it yet, so I have to create an opportunity to release my Genesis Magic, and even Fie and Yuki-Ona Queen realise this, so they help me, but Mother Holle is getting more and more powerful, and what pisses me off is that she keeps torturing the souls in her possession to attack us. To make her attack more powerful. To even replace damage that would otherwise be fatal to her. It really makes me angry. I can understand why Master Merlin really forbids this kind of thing, and I am so glad that I follow Master Merlin's teachings!
"Genesis Magic: Genesis Constellation" [Diana]
A bluff, when I charged up my attack, she panicked and started to run away. But I didn't even fire it. I didn't even prepare to fire this spell. I just said the name of the spell to create an opportunity. An opportunity that Yuki-Ona Queen and Fie took full advantage of. With her full attention focused on me, she shifted her entire attention slightly to block my attack, and this slight mishap, which she quickly corrected, gives us the much-needed advantage.
"Subzero Internal Freeze" [Yuki-Ona Queen]
"Meow" [Fie]
The Yuki-Ona Queen freezes Mother Holle's internal organs while Fie continues to attack with his thunder claw. Just as I was about to add a finishing blow, she became even more menacing.
"Tchh... Damn you!" [Mother Holle]
"THE THING... It's buffing her again" [Diana]
