"Candy! You always bring the sweetest and most delicious and softest candy! You must tell me where you find it! " [Diana]
"It's been a while since I last saw you. What was your age again? 8?" [Joseph]
"That was when I first met you in Amleth! I'm 11 now!" [Diana]
"My mistake. My fault. My memories are in a puddle. Comes with age" [Joseph].
"So am I. I think it's been 60 years since we met?" [Elder Turtle]
"More or less. I guess" [Joseph]
"You two are acting like an old man in a coffee shop" [Diana]
"Meow" [Fie]
"You both hurt us" [Joseph]
While I was eating the candy that Wandering Sage gave me, I heard the two of them reminiscing about their past. Apparently, Wandering Sage has known this Elder Turtle for a long time. In fact, it's because of Wandering Sage that the Elder Turtle has become all-powerful. Even though he wasn't a sage back then, he was still a respectable and knowledgeable scholar, so when he found out that the elder turtle here was sentient, it piqued his interest, and to make a long story short, he taught the turtle a lot about the outside world, about its power and so on. Their relationship continues to this day.
It's an interesting story. A naturally sentient coffin turtle. A rarity in itself. Even the Sentient Medusa is a result of Valdrid's experiments. Still, I understand why they are here, but as for the elder giant
"I was with Wandering Sage. After a battle with my fellow giants, which I won, I traveled with him for a short time... together with Prince Rufus of the Empire and Mr. Ling, the Prime Minister of Xianxia, to the Dragon King's lair" [Elder Giant].
"What?" [Dana]
"That's a story for another time. I'll tell you all about it when I get back to Amleth" [Joseph].
"And the blessed child and her sister are here, presumably because of our species number, am I right?" [Elder Turtle]
"That is correct. Here's what happened so far" [Diana]
I really want to know what happened! Such a strange group traveling to meet the Dragon King. I heard that the Empire wanted to make the Dragon King their own by controlling him with THE THING. This plan will definitely be impossible without Teacher Tiara... Which means... Anyway, Wandering Sage told me that he will tell me what happened later, so while I explain to the turtle why I came here in the first place and what the country of Philip (or more precisely, the adventure guild here) is proposing, an agreement is made.
"Very well. I will meet with the king of this country. Sir Joseph. Sir Giant, if you please" [Elder Tortoise].
"Of course" [Elder Giant].
"Yes, thank you very much!" [Diana]
"Thank goodness" [Dana]
"Your sensory sharing spell with your sister is truly impressive. Proof of a beautiful bond" [Joseph]
"Of course! She's my most beautiful sister after all!" [Diana]
"And she's my little sister that I am proud of!" [Dana]
The nature communication spell isn't Dana's strong point. So to help her during this meeting, I use my sensory share with her, so she can understand what the giant and the turtle are saying. As for the Wandering Sage, he also practiced a little witch art. That's not all. Since he's a sage, I'm one hundred percent sure he's brewing a potion that will allow him to communicate freely. It's possible, but it definitely costs a lot, but since he's a sage, I'm sure he found a way to make the potion easier to make. Nothing surprises me when it comes to someone so knowledgeable.
The Elder Turtle is the largest of the group. I didn't really appreciate it at first, but now that he's starting to move, he's actually gigantic. Not as gigantic as the Adamantoise, but he's bigger than a Behemoth, and a Behemoth is a pretty big creature to begin with! Perhaps he rivals the size of the false hydra, which can occupy the truly vast space of a Devil King's castle. That's my rough estimate of his size. If my field... Maybe about 1 training fields, I suppose. And that's not without taking into account it's coffin!
The Elder Turtle's coffin, like any other coffin turtle, is alive. It's made up of rocks of various sizes that are clumped together to form a coffin. With it, it emits a powerful space magic, one that rivals even Master Merlin, to ensure that it somehow has a safe place to come to.
"Huge!"
"Diana, Dana... Is that who I think it is!?" [Kat]
"Sir Joseph, the wandering sage and the esteemed Elder Giant of Amleth. I didn't expect to see you both here. And that coffin... I must say, my space-magic pales in comparison" [Linda].
"So this is the wandering sage! Anyway, please excuse me. I am the receptionist of the Adventure Guild here, I assume this is the elderly coffin turtle."
While the Adventure Guild receptionist (with the help of Sir Joseph) was talking to each other, one of the coffin turtles told me something, or to be more precise, asked me to help him with something.
"Really!?" [Diana]
"Diana, what's wrong?" [Dana]
"Are you sure he is from the Empire and can use all the elements?" [Diana]
"Wait... You don't mean..." [Dana]
"Do you need my help?" [Wandering Sage]
"It's okay. Diana, stay here. I'll take care of it" [Dana]
"No! I will go with you!" [Diana]
"I think I understand what happened, I'll follow you two as well" [Kat]
"Sigh... Sir Joseph, if you please?" [Linda]
"I will help the Adventure Guild, the Turtle Coffin, and this land. You may go" [Joseph]
"I will help the Blessed Child" [Elder Giant]
"Thank you!" [Diana]
"Please explain what happened first."
"Well..." [Diana]
I answered the receptionist's question. A group of people, probably from Aru Village, are kidnapping the villagers here. They don't seem to be affected by the coffin turtle. Upon hearing this, the other adventurer and the knights also responded and wanted to help us.
