As we all eat together in the cafeteria, I see Marianne's brother again, happily talking about how he couldn't wait to get his hands on his new pet. All I can think of is the baby behemoth that caught his attention yesterday. I'm sure Nar and the others are already on their way to actually stop this illegal trade, but too bad, here I am, just sitting around doing nothing. I can't even help them at all, which is a shame since I'm the one who can help them get the information they need.
When we're done and there's nothing better to do, I go back home only to find that Nar and Sas have already left. I'm sure I've been left behind, which isn't fair, but if I go alone, I'll only get scolded again and again.
(Perhaps I should pay a visit to the Master Smith and ask him if he has made any progress on my wand) [Diana]
Since there's nothing better to do, I might as well do just that. The Master Smith will probably lock himself behind his workplace, but breaking into his workplace is one of the fun things to do. He'll scold me, but he wouldn't actually kick me out. What a strange but nice guy.
As I drive around in the carriage, something actually catches my eye. Again it's Marianne's brother in a corner, acting suspiciously with someone I didn't recognize. There's that strange symbol being shown around again, and it looks like another illegal thing is brewing in Amleth.
(Should I follow him again? Why not!) [Diana]
This time there is no Fie, which means Master Merlin is not there to overlook my actions. This feels exciting and frightening at the same time. Judging by their strength, I'm sure that in the worst case scenario, I can simply use my magic to escape, but I can't see it happening. They're not nearly as strong as the one that's trying to poison Kara and Mara.
Following them, this time I stumbled upon an underground network of Amleth. I didn't even know it existed. They use the complex system of sewers built by the former ruler of Amleth as a trade route. Surprisingly, it's not nearly as smelly or disgusting. In fact, it's well maintained. I don't see a single cockroach or rat playing around, even though it's still dark. They use special glasses to see better, and as for me, I just use my magic and follow them. Besides, as someone from the village of Aru and one with a fairy spring inside of me, my eyes adapt quickly to the darkness.
"Here we are"
"Just a little bit more"
We leave the sewer. Again I find myself in an unknown place somewhere in Amleth. Again, I can't make out anyone or anything. This time I am completely alone.
[DANGER] [DANGER]
My instinct tells me to leave quickly. The sense of danger that I am getting is getting stronger and stronger until it is giving me a headache. It's especially true when I look at a big steel gate they're going through.
There's no one around to help me, and I don't think I'll get anything out of it. My instinct told me to run away, and so I tried to do just that. Perhaps I should retrace my steps. Yes, that seems to be the best thing to do. Worse, I will just soar high into the sky and look for the castle and fly towards it.
"Hey! Let go of me! What are you doing?" [Marianne's brother].
Suddenly, I could hear Marianne's brother struggling, and they actually surrounded him and started kicking him repeatedly. He was on the ground, being beaten mercilessly by those people in strange masks. Strange. What's going on? I thought they were friends. Why are they doing this to him?
"It's because of you, little girl!" [Strong looking guy]
"Fireball!" [Diana]
"It's you! What are you doing here?" [Marianne's brother]
Am I careless? No, I'm pretty sure I'm not careless. If anything, I'm sure this guy is the one who's strong. He can detect me even when I am completely cautious. In fact, the reason I'm starting to cast the fireball spell is because my blessing tells me that he's a dangerous person, someone I shouldn't get involved with.
"Look who's here. Someone has been away from home for a long time, Diana"
"You!" [Diana]
I recognize him. He's someone from Aru Village. What is he doing here. This is bad. This is really bad.
(What should I do?) [Diana]
