Chapter 84 - Chapter 84: The Martians' Offer

Calian had been worried about Lirienbot's silence for days. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was off with her. He didn't know what it was, but he knew that he needed to find out.

One day, Lirienbot finally spoke up. "Calian, I need to talk to you," she said.

Calian's heart skipped a beat. "What is it?" he asked, trying to keep the fear out of his voice.

"I've been in contact with Jonn'Sena," Lirienbot said. "He's a Martian, and he's told me something that I think you should know."

Calian's heart sank. He knew that whatever she was about to tell him, it wouldn't be good.

"The Martians have technology that can transfer my consciousness into a real organic body," Lirienbot said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Calian's mind raced. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know what to think. All he knew was that he was scared.

"I know that this is a lot to take in," Lirienbot said, "but I need you to understand that this is something that I have to do. I can't stay trapped in this robotic body forever."

Calian didn't know what to say. He didn't know what to do. All he could do was hold Lirienbot and try to process the news that she had just told him.

"I'll support you in whatever decision you make," Calian said, holding her tight. "I just hope that you'll still be you after the transfer."

Lirienbot looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears. "I'll always be me, Calian," she said. "I'll always be the woman you love."

Calian nodded, holding her close. He knew that this was a big decision, but he also knew that Lirienbot was making the right choice. He just hoped that everything would turn out okay in the end.

As they hugged, Jonn'Sena walked in, "I'll help you both in every step of the way, this is a big step but one that will change your lives forever"

Calian knew that whatever the future held, he would always be there for Lirienbot, and together they would face whatever challenges came their way.
