The Queen of Allore was kind enough to offer me ladies-in-waiting upon hearing that I didn't have a single attendant, but I turned her down respectfully. I'd rather be alone than stuck with strangers inside a carriage for ten whole days.
Several guards from Allore traveled with us to bolster my protection. Andre took precautions for my safety. He would've come along with me too, but there were still a lot of things he needed to settle, and he only had a month to do it before the wedding.
