[LENA]
"Luca!"
Immense relief and happiness flooded my heart and soul when I felt his arms around me again. It didn't matter that a thick, barred gate separated us. It didn't matter that the cold and rusty iron bars scraped my arms as I tried to embrace Luca.
It didn't even matter that there were other people with us, because I pulled his face against the bars and kissed his cracked, bruised lips.
"What are you doing here?" he whispered hoarsely, his hands tangled in my hair through the bars. "You shouldn't be here."
"We're here to save you," I answered, smiling through my tears. "We'll be together again."
Suddenly, Luca groaned in pain. His hands left my hair to clutch at his side as he slowly slid to the floor.
"Luca!" I yelled, reaching out to him through the bars.
