She looked surprised at what I said. Well, that was what I saw when Jacob looked at her. With the way his eyes blink and the gaze he is giving Odette, I know he still has feelings.
"Maybe he just sees me as his friend, nothing more about it, love. I heard he was linking into his new screen partner, and they had a great time to be with him. So you don't have anything to worry about with Jacob. He's just a good friend of mine."
"For you, he was just a friend, but for him, no. I know he's not yet over to you, and I won't make any move; he will take advantage of it to be closer again to you.
"Fine if you say so." I open the passenger and back seat doors for Dalle and Odette and wait for them to get in before I close the door and go to the driver's seat.
