Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 – I’m not a slave anymore

Hearing Raelynn's hysterical screams behind her, Selena ran down the tunnel, looking around. She soon reached the part of the cave where she had recently licked Breena's dirty vagina. There was a chest and a torch was lit, inserted into a holder on the wall. Selena stopped and decided to take a torch to light her way. It was not difficult to get it out of the holder. Then she opened the chest, hoping to find something of value, since all her belongings were left in the chest near the altar. She saw inside a metal spiked mace, like the one hanging from Raelynn's belt, sandals, and an old worn short robe and a strange belt, too short to attach it to her waist. Without thinking twice, Selena put on sandals and a robe, which, to her great regret, didn't have any magical effects and was just a rag.

"At least I won't shake my tits in front of necromancers and undead," she thought.

The mace didn't have any additional magical properties too, but of course it could still be dealt damage as an ordinary cold weapon. Selena tied a strange belt around her hip, suggesting that she might need it to stop bleeding when injured. Now she was ready to move on at her own risk.

She took a few steps through the tunnel and saw a door made of metal bars in the wall, behind which there was a "living" human skeleton with an axe in his hands. Obviously, this was a sample of the undead that necromancers are able to create. Perhaps this skeleton was a creation of Raelynn, who somehow molded it from bones. Such a skeleton could also be summoned for a while with the help of a spell, but most likely this skeleton was not summoned, since it was sitting behind bars like a test rat.

Noticing Selena, the skeleton approached the metal bars and just stood there, pounding his bone jaw.

"I wonder if there were no metal bars, he'd have attacked me?" - she thought and calmly walked past, not wanting to tease the undead and make unnecessary noise.

Then she saw a turn ahead and turned around and listened, assuming that there might be a chase after her. Behind her, she could still hear Raelynn's plaintive screams, interspersed with some kind of Anchorite exclamations.

"What the hell happened near the altar? Some demonic tentacles attacked me. Was it some kind of Molag Bal joke? I won't be coming back to ask about it. I even feel a little sorry for Raelynn, because this monster also grabbed her, but it would be stupid to go back there."

Then, turning the corner, she saw a wooden door ahead, located between two stone columns made of the same rough stone as the altar of the Bal. There was also a stone slab with several steps on the floor.

"It looks like this cave is part of some ancient ruins left over from extinct civilizations. These stone slabs and columns probably remained from some Ayleids or Dwemers. Although I don't understand it, but it's unlikely that necromancers created these stone structures," Selena thought.

In front of him, a rotting corpse lay on a stone slab, without a head and left arm, in a pool of dried blood. Selena frowned and thought it was strange, because if this corpse is the result of some experiments, then it should be in some kind of closed room, like that skeleton with an axe.

"Hmm. Maybe the undead sometimes get out of control?" she wondered, carefully stepping over the rotting flesh, holding the mace at the ready.

Approaching the door, Selena thought about what she would do if she met other necromancers. Despite the fact that she found the mace, she is not an experienced enough fighter to deal with them. At best, she will be able to kill a giant rat or a not particularly strong undead.

"Damn…I've never increased my combat skills in my life. I only seem to have slightly increased the skill of hand-to-hand combat and blocking when I was captured by Dolada. Maybe I should pretend to be a lost slave if I meet necromancers?" thought Selena.

She decided, just in case, to take off the robe she found, which still did not give her any advantages, and remained naked. In her inventory, she found shackles and shackles, which most likely moved there during those strange events at the altar of Molag Bal.

"If I wear them, I will look like a slave, and I'll say that I am a slave to Raelynn. Then they won't attack me. What if, as soon as I put on the handcuffs, I won't be able to take them off and find myself shackled and helpless?"

Selena was racking her brain, not knowing what to do.

"A slave's passport? Is it in the inventory?", she caught herself and looked into the inventory again. There she actually found the slave's passport, and she was able to get it as an ordinary scroll. Selena turned it over in her hands and put it back in her inventory.

"So, I'm not a slave, 'cause i can get it from the inventory. Then if I put on handcuffs, I won't be able to make myself a slave. It'll be simple pieces of iron," she decided, and put on shackles and shackles.

She moved cautiously her limbs and found that she could move her legs and arms. Then she put her hand to the door handle and hesitated for a moment. Selena turned back and thought about Raylenn again. This female necromancer eventually started treating her more carefully. She fed, watered, and even cured of the disease, and also put her to sleep in a coffin with a cloth, and not on the damp ground. In addition, Selena even had an orgasm during sex with her. Would it be right to leave her, after all the loud phrases about the child and devotion?

"It looks like I'm a real masochist. I've been raped many times in the last couple of days, and I don't even have real stress. And it seems that I even begin to sympathize with my rapists when they care about me at least a little. Well! It's better than if I went crazy with grief! I think I could even go back to Raelynn, but the Worm Anchorite wants to hand me over to this monster! This is unacceptable! So, I have to get out of here!", - Selena decided and opened the door.

Behind the door was a passage with two columns, which led to a hall lit by torches. Having prepared a spiked mace just in case, Selena walked between two columns and saw several strange stone rectangles, vaguely similar to beds, on one of which lay a coffin. She looked inside. There lay a mangy, smelly head and arm, and a steel axe.

"Hmm, and there was a corpse lying outside without a head and an arm...", Selena recalled, thinking that these parts were parts of one body, "What the hell happened here?"

She took the steel one-handed axe from the coffin and closed the coffin. Ahead, you could see a dying fire and a stool, and a large bag. Also, to her left Selena saw a dark passage, from which a sharp female voice immediately came:

"Who's there?!"

Selena shuddered and looked around. The first thought that came to her was the idea of hiding somewhere. But there were no suitable shelters nearby. Suddenly footsteps were heard. Obviously, some woman was coming here from that dark passage from where the questioning voice was heard.

"It's better to hide the weapon so as not to look hostile," Selena decided, putting the mace in the inventory.

Then she decided to introduce herself to the one who would come out of the tunnel as the slave of Raelynn. Therefore, she threw the torch aside and put her hands behind her back, as if they were shackled. A lot of disorderly thoughts were running around in her head, and she couldn't decide whether her tactics were optimal or she was doing some stupid things.

A second later, a female necromancer in a black robe came out to meet her. She belonged to the race of "high elves", or Altmer, naturally inclined to the magical arts. She had blonde hair and big green eyes. Selena tried to smile as friendly as possible at this stranger, hoping to avoid an attack.

"Who the hell are you?!" the necromancer was surprised, coming almost close to Selena, suspiciously drilling her with an unfriendly look.

"I'm the slave of Raelynn the Gravefinder. I even have a slave passport. The Anchorite of the Worm brought me to the Mossy Rock," Selena replied, trying not to show her excitement, although her voice trembled.

"Why did you come here? Where is Raelynn?" the elf asked suspiciously.

"Raelynn and the Worm Anarchist..." Selena started to say.

"An anarchist? What kind of anarchist?! Stupid slave. The Anchorite!" the elf exclaimed, correcting the girl.

"Yes, you're right…Excuse me. Raelynn just fucked me so hard with her strap-on that I'm already confusing the words," Selena explained, "In general, the Anchorite and Raelynn near the altar of the Molag Bal began to perform some kind of ritual, and I was kicked out. They said there was nothing for a slave to do there. Then there were some screams. Maybe their ritual went wrong somehow. I don't know..."

"A ritual? What kind of ritual?"

"I don't know. I was just kicked out. Raelynn said she would come for me later when she and the Anchorite were done there. But as I was saying, I heard some screams behind my back! Can I wait here for my mistress? And you can check in the meantime whether everything is in order with Anchorite and Raelynn. I'm so worried about my mistress."

"Hmm... So...," the necromancer said, looking confused by Selena's chatter.

"There's a big hall up ahead. You can wait there," she said, "But stay there! If you go into other tunnels, you may be attacked by armed skeletons guarding the passages from any adventurers."

"Yes, thank you. I'll be there waiting for my mistress," Selena nodded.

After that, the elf moved out of the way, allowing the girl to pass on.

"She said that armed skeletons could attack there, guarding the passageways from any adventurers. This means that there is a chance to get out of this cave if I pass through the skeleton guards," Selena realized, moving along the corridor, leaving the elf behind.
