Inside a forest a boy can be seen wallowing in mud that he created himself. If someone passed by, they will think of it as a crazy kid that have nothing to do just wallowing in mud like a pig when it is winter. But what he is doing has a purpose. His actions always had a purpose.
"Okay… Scent is masked. I'm just around 500 meters distance from the cave. Aria, how is my condition?" Adrian felt that his adrenaline levels are at a high. He always starts by asking his AI partner on his condition every time he is on a mission. It is his ritual.
[Responding. Physical body is in great condition.]
[Notice. Mana is at 92%. Optimal amount for the mission.]
[Warning. Soul damage detected. Master will feel pain every time he circulates mana.]
[Advice. Since Master don't have enough mana to cast 'Primordial magic: Soul enhancement'. Master needs to equip Excalibur before entering the nest to resist the poison and the miasma. Also, Master needs finish the battle as soon as it started.]
"Hmm… this is quite rushed but right now is the perfect opportunity." Adrian heard about his conditions. It was not an optimal condition to fight a ferocious demonic beast but he had to do this right now.
The serpent already had a nest, if let be it can become a swarm of it in the near future. These problems had been popping out recently. He wonders how his family estate is fairing. Malcom had not said anything about this. The people of Light Edge town also did not seem to have any problems. He need to set out a plan before he attend the academy so his family would be safe.
But right now, he needs to draw his first blood on the demonic beast.
Adrian walks closer to the cave. He walks with care and does not make a sound. He trained this before, in his past life and current life. This is his advantage.
Soon, the nest is already 70 meters away. Adrian's emotions begun to spiral.
"Ugh… It must be the miasma. Such terrifying effects. If a low level mage comes close they could have a heart attack and drop dead right here." Adrian commented on the effects of the miasma. After all, miasma is like mana but it uses emotions as the source instead of nature.

"Equipped."
"Ah… Much better. Huhuhu… you can't send a signal to the sky during the day right, Caliburnus?" Adrian feels better already while joking with Excalibur by its other name.
Excalibur vibrates a bit while dispersing the surrounding miasma in a larger radius. The purple energy started to disappear in a flash. The effect could be seen until the entrance of the nest.
"Hmm? Uhh… Aria? Is the weapon suppose to be sentient?" Adrian did not know what happen. He was just joking with the sword he did not know that the weapons from the Armory of Legends are sentient.
[Responding. Some are.]
"What!!!" Adrian was very surprise at the detail. He thought that the weapons form the Armory of Legends are just imitations form Earth buffed by mana. He never expects Aria can recreate it perfectly until giving the weapons 'life'.
The ground started to shake. Poisonous fumes can be seen gushing out from the cave nest. Then a giant snake head popped out from the dark cave.
*HISS*
Adrian immediately hides behind a tree. The assassination plan is a bust. The Deathbring serpent must have sense that apart of the miasma disappeared so it woken up.
"You are such a troublemaker." Adrian thought and look at Excalibur in his hand while letting out a drop of sweat.
Since the assassination plan is ruin. Adrian moves on to plan B, strike first. Like he always does.
Looking at the 'Map', Adrian can see the serpent's head every movement.
"Now. Light magic: Flash of Light"
Adrian turns into a beam of light flying zig zag, manoeuvring through the forest, approaching the serpent in an instant. Adrian targets the serpent neck wanting to chop its head off and finishing it instantly.
"Severing Slash."
*HISSSSSSSSSSSSS*
Unfortunately, the Deathbring serpent's survival instinct and reflex are well honed. It manged to dodge a lethal blow but the price is enormous.
Adrian was aiming to chop its head of in a single strike but the serpent manage to came out of the cave and twist its serpentine body. The serpent reveal itself fully. A 20-meter-long black scaly body but there is a diagonal cut can be seen until bone.
"Tch! This guy is smart. As soon as the slash reached the bone it twists its body so my remaining force cuts along the spine. How can there be a demonic beast that is too intelligent?" Adrian is surprise at the level of intelligence of the Deathbring serpent.

The Deathbring serpent is at its life's edge. The flesh that Adrian cut, wiggles as it moves. It now knows that this human child is very dangerous. It can feel the miasmic powers form his body are starting to get purified from the slash. Its emotions are in shambles, mixed with fear and anger.
*HISSSSSSSSSSSSS*
Confused, the serpent writhing it body around. Tossing dirt and trees around. A lot of it went Adrian's way. It also made Adrian difficult to finish it off but a thought came to mind so he wanted to test it out.
"What's this? Already on a death struggle? Have a taste of what I have in store for your wolf brother I saw a few weeks earlier." Adrian moves with 'Flash of Light' avoiding all the debris.
"Paralyze." This is one of Adrian's aliment spell that he made as a preparation to exterminate the demonic wolf when he is at the capital.
The Deathbring serpent's movements suddenly becomes stiff. It can still move but in a stiff motion.
"It works! Kind off…." Adrian steps back a few meters back seeing the dirt and trees stops coming his way. The serpent is on the ground but moves in a stiff motion and shaking to fight the effect. The results of the spell are not 100% but it manages to slow it down.
"Auoww… Severin...." Adrian already let out a battle cry to end it all but he instantly dodges left.
*HISSSS*
The Deathbring serpent resulted in its specialty. Its poison. Poisonous fog spews out from its mouth. Luckily, Adrian steps back in time as he is not prepared to push through the poisonous fog. His breathing is not in rhythm with the moment the serpent spews out its poison. So, holding his breath the moment the serpent spits out its poison is risky.
The serpent finally collected itself as it found its target of vengeance. The cause of all its misfortune. It stares at Adrian with its yellow snake eyes. The Deathbring serpent need to bring the human along with it in hell. It finally restores its movements a little after circulating some mana through its body. But the damage from the first attack is still there. The piece of flesh almost fallen off after it writhes its body around.
"What's with that look? Humph." Adrian starts to make a move again.
"Vertigo."
The serpent's eyes widen. It suddenly felt like the ground is up and the sky is down. It looks at Adrian's location and saw Adrian like the inside of a kaleidoscope. So many of him. All of him is colorful. Filled with confusion, the serpent uses all of its mana and spits out poison like a firetruck trying to put out a forest fire but this one is destroying the forest.
"Is it a stupid move?" Adrian thought while keep backing away from the poison range.

With both Excalibur and Worochi no Aramasa equipped gaining all off the special effects, Light +, Water + and Lightning +. Enough for the killing blow.
"Primordial magic: Lightning blade"
Yellow runes came out from Adrian's hands forming a magic circle at the tip of Worochi no Aramsa's blade. This time its different then the last time he used it. The magic circle is twice as large and the runes are glowing as it is alive. This is all made possible with Worochi no Aramasa.
*GRURRRUU*
The sound of thunder shakes the area and it echoes throughout the skies. The location of the Deathbring serpent last struggling are only left with a crater and pieces of some remaining bones of the serpent. The poisonous fog already dissipated as the mana of Primordial magic overpowered its existence.
"Still left some bones of it, huh?" Adrian looked at the crater.
